Dear Friends

A Catholic pilgrimage is a journey or a search of religious or spiritual significance. Pilgrimages became part of the Catholic tradition in the fourth century, when Christians wanted to travel to the places that were part of Jesus’ life or to the graves of the martyr’s and various saints. The richness of our faith lies in the fact that we can touch and feel the elements of our faith!

Magi Pilgrimages endeavours to help pilgrims have the same spiritual encounter with Jesus and deepen their Christian faith leading to a lifelong change, but in a more organized, comfortable and hassle-free way. This helps our pilgrims to meet Christ in their own unique way, as our name suggests, pilgrims are MAGIs, - Travelling to See Christ.

The year 2017 had hundreds of pilgrims travelling through our various tours, across multiple destinations like Israel, Jordan, Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Croatia, India etc. In 2018, we continue our tradition to make pilgrimages accessible and affordable

to all pilgrims. With newer destinations, multiple departure dates and increasingly reliable travel partners we are excited to bring you our best.

Magi Pilgrimages 2018 brochure is our invitation to you, to step out in hope with Magi, to see Christ! May, this year bring you the blessed encounter with the Lord.

"Pilgrimages to Holy Places in the world continue to grow in popularity. They can be occasion’s for real spiritual conversion and refreshment. I commend MAGI Pilgrimages in making practical contributions to enable this to happen in Australia."

Archbishop Christopher Prowse Archbishop of Canberra and Goulburn

"I have only recently returned from a wonderful 14 day trip with Magi Pilgrimages to Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy. It was an ambitious itinerary and the group consisted of nearly 50 people but, thanks to the excellent management of our tour guides and the great spirit of our group, we were able to experience many blessings at Fatima, Lourdes, Assisi, and Rome, as well as visiting other places of historical and spiritual significance, including Lisbon, Segovia, Loyola, Avignon, and Venice. It was a truly memorable time and I think we all returned to Australia refreshed in body, mind, and spirit. Thank you, Magi Pilgrimages."

Very Rev Richard Waddell, VG Vicar General of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Australia

"Journeying with Magi Pilgrimages to Holy Land was a wonderful and breathtaking experience. The best parts of our journey was celebrating the Eucharist at the Holy Sepulcher and the empty tomb of Jesus. The Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee was very significant and the Via Dolorosa was a very moving experience for all the pilgrims. The food and accommodation organised by you was great and the support you provided before and during the journey really helped the pilgrims travel in comfort and safety."

“I chose a pilgrimage journey for my Principal’s Renewal Program as a source of spiritual strength, a time of repentance, thanksgiving, prayer and meditation. The journey took me to many significant religious and sacred places in Europe like Fatima, Lourdes, Assisi and Rome and smaller towns like Santarem, Avila, Segovia, Loyola, Avignon, Turin and Padua. It was a moving and beautiful experience for which I will be forever grateful. On my return I wrote down a brief reflection for my school community to share with them the wonderful and memorable experiences I brought back.”

"The pilgrimage covered a lot each day. Overall a positive experience and enjoyable. Fantastic experience meeting new people and having a spiritual journey together. We visited some beautiful churches which truly revived your spirit. Magi did a great job, organizing all aspects of the pilgrimage.Worst part of our journey was when it all ended and we went our separate ways."

"A few more days and that way we would not have been so rushed but I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you. I enjoyed it more than the past pilgrimage organizers where we had to give tips to guides, driver and priest which was a hassle. You made it so much better but covering that in our cost. I enjoyed my time and the wonderful religious experiences. Thank you also for the great dinner surprise in Rome on the last night. WONDERFUL. You guys are the best!"
