RED & BLACK STAFF COVERING THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN ATLANTA, DECEMBER 2017. Over the course
of the 2017 season, the student staff published more than 650 articles (72 on the day of the national champion-
ship game alone) along with photo galleries, videos, podcasts and four special issues of the print edition.

have evolved into a multiplatform student media organization, one
thing remains the same: The Red & Black is produced by students
for students.
Weekly Print Edition
Published every Thursday class is in session, the weekly print edition of The Red
& Black provides readers with in-depth reporting, features, profiles and striking
photography. The print issues emphasize the big stories on campus and in Athens,
complementing our online breaking news and shorter items. The print edition is
distributed at more than 100 locations around Athens and on the UGA campus.
