2018 Quiltescape Delectable Mountains Supply List
Delectable Mountains with Cindy Casciato
Welcome to Cindy’s Studio! All skills are welcome. This year’s project is (Delectable Mountains). The quilt may look
daunting but once the technique is introduced you will quickly discover how simple the blocks are to make. You will
make this fun, exciting Mountain, half log cabin and striped Eight Pointed Star blocks using the new Modern Triangle
Rectangle tool. You will bring your strips, squares and rectangles pre-cut to class and begin sewing right away. The
tool will be used in class to make all of the blocks in the project. In addition you will learn how to make half-squares
from rectangles any size you need for future patterns. The cost of the tool is $20.00. I also recommend a Frixion Pen
for marking your sewing lines only. The pattern containing multiple sizes for the quilt is $10.00. The pattern will give
you a choice of a Wall/Table Topper quilt, Queen/King, Full, quilt or a table runner. If you have previously purchased
the Modern Triangle Rectangle Tool bring it with you.
