Leather Information and Care

IMD Furniture uses only top grain leathers from a number of leather suppliers. Top grain leather is the leather sliced from the top surface of the hide. As leather is a natural material, no two hides are alike. All the scratches, scars, neck and shoulder wrinkles and different textures of the stomach area and the backbone, are natural and accepted in leather product. This is, in fact, one way to verify the authenticity of the leather.

IMD Furniture Inc. buys two categories of leather in order to give the range of looks and textures we offer in the line. We offer pure aniline, which is dyed through but retains shade variations, and has no protective topcoat. When the back of the leather is roughly the same color as the face, it is aniline dyed leather. In addition, we offer protected aniline leather, which is more uniform and consistent in color and have a protective topcoat that helps protect against fading and stains. These leathers will have a glossier surface and may have unusual grains such as lizard or crocodile.

CARE TIPS FOR LEATHER

IMD Furniture Inc. manufactures a quality product and with proper care it will provide many years of excellent service. The following tips will help extend the life of your furniture.

1) Keep pure aniline leathers away from direct sunlight to minimize fading2) To dust, use soft cloth and leather cleaner, not water3) Apply a protective leather cream to resist staining and cracking4) Clean with leather cleaner every six months to remove dist and body oils, then re-apply the leather

Leather is an upholstery material, and as such, carries no individual warranty as to suitability or durability.

CLEANING CODES

“W” – clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent to remove overall soil. Many household cleaning solvents are harmful to the color and life of a fabric. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

“S” – Clean this fabric with pure solvents (petroleum distillate-based products, Energine, Carbona, Renuzit, or similar products may be used) in a well-ventilated room. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. CAUTION: use of water-based or detergent-based solvent cleaner may cause excessive shrinking. Water stains may become permanent and unable to be removed with solvent cleaning agents. Avoid products containing Carbon Tetrachloride as it is highly toxic. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

“S-W” – clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent or with a pure solvent in a well-ventilated room (petroleum distillate-based products, Energine, Carbona, Renuzit or similar products may be used). Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. . To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

“X” – Clean this fabric only by vacuuming or light brushing to prevent accumulation of dust or grime. Water-base foam or solvent-based cleaning agents of any kind may cause excessive shrinking or fading.

Match finishes are subject to a minimum of $300 service charge or 15%, whichever is greater. Add 25% for distressed finishes.

Fills are 24” standard (unless otherwise noted).18” fills are also available at no additional charge.Please add $110.00 to cut each 24” fill into 12” fills.

Most chairs are standard with casters. If you would like a castered chair with no casters and the same seat height, please add $100.00 per chair. If the chair is not standard with casters and you would like the chair with casters and dining height, please call factory for availability.

Most styles are available with nailheads for an additional charge of $66.00 per seat and $132.00 for seat and back. Nailheads options are Antique Brass, Polished Nickle and Pewter.

Available in some seats and backs. Call factory to verify availability. Upcharge will be at least $225.00 per cushion.

For the 34, 35, 42, 43, 45, 46 and 66 bases add $110.00 for heights between 30” and 36”. Add $33.00 for sizes between24” and 30”. For the 58 and 63 bases add $275.00 for heights between 30” and 36”.

$60.00 upcharge for special finishes. Those are Polished Brass, Polished Nickel and Pewter. Antique brass and brushed nickel are standard.

Veneer & Laminate Table Info

1. STYLE NUMBERThe first two digits refer to the base. The second two digits refer to the top.Example: a 5224 table combines #52 based with a #24 top.

2. DIAMETERStandard sizes range from 36” to 60” with some limitation according to specific models.Special sizes are always available by request.

3. INSERTSOur standard quality plastic laminate tops are1/16” thick (double thickness) to provide maximum surface

protection and durability. Our standard finishes are formulated to match laminate color and detailing asclosely as possible, given the variations inherent in natural wood products. Wood veneers are cut fromthe finest logs and are permanently adhered to a high density Medite core which provides superior warpresistance and structural integrity.

4. FINISHESPlease consult the wood finish samples for your choice. Custom and match finishes are always availableby request. Match finishes are subject to a minimum $330 service charge or 15% whichever is greater.

5. EXTENSION or NON-EXTENSIONMost tables are designed to accommodate up to three 24” fills. 18” fills are available at the same price or

two 12” fills can be substituted for an additional $110.00 retail price. For tables using two or more fills on afrequent basis, we recommend a split base, which are those that separate into two support sources whenadding fills. Solid (non-extension) bases, which do not extend when the table is expanded, are equippedwith the two support legs when two or more fills are ordered. A table with no fills must be specified as a“non-extension” for production to commence.

6. HEIGHTDining height, approximately 28 ½”, is standard and will be assumed unless otherwise specified.

Game height, also known as Continental height, which is approximately 26 ½”, is also available as a

no-charge option. Custom heights are available in most styles by request and may involve additional cost.

7. WOOD SPECIESWith very few exceptions the entire line is available in Northern Red Oak, Hard Rock Maple, AmericanCherry, and American Walnut.

8. PEDESTAL BASESTable bases which have split pedestal are noted with (*) by the number.

Chair Info

1. Style number: Each chair style is identified by a four-digit number. Gas cylinder are identified by two letters (GC) following the style number. Example: 1506GC.

2. Fabric pattern: Please consult your fabric swatches for all fabric information. We do accept COM covers at no extra charge. Please consult this price list for yardage requirements and pricing.

3. Height: Dining height, approximately 18 ½” seat height is standard as and will be assumed unless otherwise specified. Game height, also known as Continental height, which is approximately 16 ½” seat height, is also available as a no-charge option. Custom heights are available in most styles by request and may involve additional cost.

4. Caster choice: The right caster choice depends on the type of floor surface the chair is to be used on. Some casters are available in a slightly larger size. Please consult the photo showing the caster styles. Any style caster is $15.00 per caster plus shipping and handling.

HOODEN BALL: For use on low carpet and ceramic tile. This caster is standard on most traditional styles. Available in antique brass only.

DUAL WHEEL: This caster is also for low carpet and ceramic tile. This caster is standard on most contemporary styles. Available in black and antique brass.

SHEPHERD: To be used on high pile carpets only. Available in Antique Brass only. PLEASE ADD $85 FOR GC BASES AND $70 FOR LEG CHAIRS

SOFT TREAD: A dual wheel caster with an extra soft wheel edge for use with hardwood floors, vinyl or soft linoleum. Available in Black only.

COLOR VARIATIONS: IMD FURNITURE is proud to manufacture its products solely from Northern Red Oak, Hard Rock White Maple, American Cherry, and American Walnut. Natural variations do occur, such as grain patterns, grain density, base color and cut. These combine to create color variations, hallmarks of solid hardwood construction. These will be more apparent at joints and glue lines. Many finishes have little or no pigmentation, this will further enhance this effect. No replacements will be made, or creditsallowed, due to grain patterns or objections to color variations.

DAMAGE CLAIMS: All merchandise is thoroughly inspected and carefully packed before shipment, responsibility for its safe delivery is assumed by the carrier upon acceptance of shipment. Our responsibility ends when the carrier signs the receipt. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transittherefore must be made upon the carrier. We cannot make the claim for you. Most carriers requirethat all shipping cartons and packing material be retained and be available for inspection. If the merchandise appears short or damaged, do not accept it until the delivering carrier makes a corresponding notation on your copy of the freight bill or delivery ticket, or refuse delivery of the shipment entirely.

IMD FURNITURE WILL SHIP ONLY TO STOCKING DEALERS OR THEIR WAREHOUSES, TO BEINSPECTED BY THE DEALER UPON DELIVERY.Any Dealer requesting shipment to any other location must seek in writing, in advance, approval from

BEAR THIS NUMBER. ALL GOODS RETURNED DUE TO DAMAGE MUST BE FREIGHT PREPAID TO THE IMD FURNITURE FACTORY IN GARDEN GROVE, CA.

IMD FURNITURE on each such shipment. Upon approval from IMD FURNITURE, said dealer will become solelyand totally responsible for all claims and mediation of monatary issues that arise during shipment and deliveryof such shipment. Said dealer will be required to sign an agreement to that effect prior to each such shipment.

NO RETURNED MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS CLAIM WAS NOTED / FILED AND PRIOR RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER IS OBTAINED FROM IMD FURNITURE. EACH ITEM MUST

3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

IMD FURNITURE warrants, to the original purchaser, the manufacture of all its furniture products made with standard options to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years, under normal household use and service, following the date of purchase by Purchaser. Custom productwill be warranted based on manufacturing requirements, degree of customization, site of installation and

potential usage. This warranty does not cover upholstery nor damages which result from neglect, accident,intentional misuse or acts of nature, institutional or commercial use, damage or wear to any swivel

mechanisms, normal wear and tear, exposure to extremes in temperature or humidity, immersion in water, fading or variations in color of finish over time, scratches, blemishes or slight color variations in wood

grain, minor variations in size, unauthorized repair, alterations, abuse, or misuse of product, breakageor scratching of laminates and veneer table tops.

Chairs and barstools are intended solely for seating. Tables are intended solely for dining and gaming. Any other use may create a hazard and invalidates this warranty.

Since the use of IMD FURNITURE products is beyond IMD FURNITURE control, IMD FURNITURE cannot guarantee the suitability of any product for a particular application, and IMD FURNITURE shall not be liable for

consequential damage or expense arising from the use or misuse of its products in any application. Responsibility is limited solely for replacement or repair defective merchandise, EXCLUSIVE OF PICK UP / DELIVERY AND INBOUND FREIGHT CHARGES.

All decisions as to the cause of failure are to sole determination of IMD FURNITURE

Should service under this warranty be necessary, the Purchaser is responsible for returning the merchandise to the dealer from which it was purchased. If the dealer is no longer available, contact

IMD FURNITURE, or anyone IMD FURNITURE in its sole discretion authorizes, at no charge, to the Purchaser. Return shipping shall be freight prepaid to the dealer making the recommendation.

All costs for delivery from the Purchaser to the dealer and for any delivery to the Purchaserfrom the dealer shall be paid by the Purchaser.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,WARRANTIES TO THE MERCHANTABILITY OR AS TO THE FITNESS TO ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE WHICH EXTENDED BEYOND THE

DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF AND IMD FURNITURE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM USE OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL

DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY
