Informations for the StudentsEligibility for Admission:Candidates who have passed SSC and HSC examination in science group with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any recognized Board of Bangladesh with a total grade point average of 8.00 by both the examinations. But the grade average for each of the exams must not be less than 3.50 and in HSC grade point in Biology must not be less than 3.00. Students having O level & A level quali�cations should apply with certi�cate of equivalence issued from the competent authority of Director General of health service, Govt. of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. The students who passed SSC or equivalent examination 02 (two) sessions before, are not eligible to apply for the admission test. Married students are not eligible to apply for admission.

Documents to be submitted by the candidateAll enclosures must be attested by class 1 Gazetted officer Photocopy of original Certi�cate SSC & HSC / equivalent examination Photocopy SSC & HSC / equivalent examination marks sheets Photocopy of original testimonials Certificate of sports / social work or any other extracurricular activities Three copies of recent passport size photographs A character certificate from head of the institute in which the candidate studied last.

Original copies of the documents must be produced at the time of admission and all the original documents shall be retained by the college until graduating from the college.

Medical Examination for AdmissionThe selected candidates will be examined by a Medical Board to determine their physical and mental fitness. The Medical Board will be formed by the Principal Monno Medical College.

Ineligibility for Admission Declared unfit by the Medical Board. Having previous history of unethical, immoral or any activity subversive of the state or of discipline. Convicted by any court of law.


Fees and other Expenses for Local StudentsAccording to the government decision in the last year a finally selected candidate would have to pay Tk. 16,20,000/- (Taka sixteen lac twenty thousand only) at the time of admission into the 1st year M.B.B.S. class in Monno Medical College. But this year the amount to money to be paid will be finalized after having decision from the government. So, the interested candates are suggested to contact with the o�ce for purpose.

Tuition Fees (To be paid monthly)> Tk. 8,000.00 (Eight thousand) per month

Hostel charge (To be paid monthly)Tk. 3,000.00 (Three thousand) per month

Food At actual cost self paid

Clinical Session Fee (To be paid in 3rd year)A student is to pay Tk. 1, 80,000.00(One lac eighty thousand) Only as clinical session fee when he/she will be in 3rd year M.B.B.S. class.


Fees & Other Expenses for Foreign StudentsFor admission of foreign (Indian) students existing Government rules will be followed with a reason-able fee for admission. Total Tuition Fees for Five (05) Years : USD 41,500.00 (Forty One Thousand Five Hundred US Dollar) for Indians and USD 39,900.00 (Thirty Nine Thousand Nine Hundred ) for Nepa-lese including accommodation. Food : At actual cost self paid, All Payments in US Dollar.

Note 1: Admission fees and all other fees except clinical session fees must be paid in full at the time of admis-sion. All payments made at the time of admission are non refundable. If a student leaves the college just after admission he/she will have to pay Tk.1, 00,000.00 (One lac) only as compensation. But no money will be refunded if he/she leaves the college after getting registration of the university.

Note 2: All the fees have to be paid accroding to schedule of installments which will be informed at booking for admission. Failure of payment in schedule date of insallment will bear penal charges.

Note 3: Any changes in the admission rules will be followed according to order of Govt. of peoples Republic of Bangladesh.


Examinations and Assessmentsa. In course examinationsNo student shall be allowed to sit for Professional MBBS examinations of Dhaka University unless he/she attends minimum 75% classes held, secures at least 60% marks in class assignments, term examinations and demonstrates satisfactory attitude, behavior and conduct.

b. End course examinationsFor the degree of MBBS, there will be University Examinations as per rules of the Faculty of Medicine. All University Professional MBBS Examinations will be held as per the University time schedule notified by the Controller of Examinations.

c. InternshipStudents who will successfully pass the Final Professional MBBS Examination will be considered as quali-�ed and they have to undergo one year internship training in the hospital as per rules and regulations of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
