Blue Ridge Pride Center will be on hand with free Pride swag. Bring your camping chairs, coolers, + shade structures as you raise your voice in support of inclusive social sports in western North Carolina. Games are at noon, 1:00, and 2:00. Stonewall Sports is about low-cost, high-fun, inclusive leagues AND getting to know new friends. Our post-game social will take place at Wicked Weed West. It's close to the playing fields, has a food truck, and allows families. Plan to play, cheer, and celebrate! Considered one of the pioneers of Asheville's farm-to-table movement, we’ve continued to serve fresh, scratch-made Southern fare and put new twists on old Southern dishes and cocktails. 2019 Blue Ridge Pride Festival: Becoming Our Greatest Selves – Together Festival Week Calendar | 6 Sunday 9/29 Asheville Drag Brunch Asheville Drag Brunch | Banks Ave 11 AM to 2 PM | Banks Ave, 32 Banks Avenue | $20 The $20 ticket includes one show time a fabulous brunch catered by AUX Bar and the hour-long drag show. The family-friendly drag queen entertainment promises to be sing along top-notch fun with plenty of laughter and audience interaction. The show includes performances by professional queens Calcutta, Ginger Von Snap, Katarina Eclipse, Margaritte Enchanted, and is hosted by The Bearded Lady: DIVINE (Divinity Holeburn). They're a hoot! This unique event is a fundraiser for Blue Ridge Pride Center. Banks Avenue Bar boasts full-service bar and AUX Bar catering promises a bountiful brunch with vegetarian options.

Join the Friends of the North Carolina Room and a panel of local LGBT+ community members and activists for a lively panel discussion. Topics will include: The importance of collecting and preserving LGBT+ history in local archives, teaching, discussing, and exhibiting LGBT+ history in the post-Stonewall age, and Asheville as a center for LGBT+ Activism in Southern Appalachia since the 1970s and into the present. David Forbes of the The Asheville Blade will serve as moderator.
