FORMAT The event will be run with a full combined format, as for IFSC rules.

REGISTRATION – INVITED ATHLETES

The event will be organised with combined format. The 20 athletes will be selected in the

following way:

• Best 18 athletes from gender on the Hachioji WCH combined ranking

• 2 seeded Chinese athletes, selected by CMA

The IFSC will communicate to the qualified athletes their invitation to the China Open 2019,

following the end of the 2019 Combined World Championships – Hachioji (JPN). The deadline

for confirmation for the National Federations is established for the 15th of September 2019. If,

following this date, the quota of 18 athletes is not reached, the re-allocation process will be

based on the Hachioji combined ranking. The maximum quota for Country will not be applied.

After the first round of re-allocation, CMA reserve itself the right to invite international

athletes without following the WCH Hachioji combined ranking.

APPAREANCE FEES

All the athletes attending the event will benefit from the following points:

1) 1000 Euro/Athlete Appearance Fee provided by organizer

2) Free accommodation and food in Official Hotels

3) Free airport pick-up

Note: All athletes need to be registered on IFSC website. This process will be completed by

IFSC office upon confirmation of attendance from the National Federation within the deadline.

DEADLINE: The deadline for confirming the athletes is 23.59 CEST of 15th of September. For re-

allocation, a different deadline will be communicated from the IFSC to the National

Federations.

START LIST: Registered competitors not confirmed as present on 31st, October 2019 during

the registration time will be deleted from the Official Starting List.
