Contest Rules & ConditionsCreate-A-Bookmark
• FOUR Grade Categories: 1-3, 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12• Submit artwork using this form or a double-sided copy.• All artwork must be done in BLACK only (marker or ink).• Multiple entries allowed; only eligible to win one prize.• Submission deadline: Friday, March 15, 2019. • Deliver entries to any SJCPL location or 1st Source Banking Center in South Bend.• Make a copy of your bookmark before submission; bookmarks will not be returned.
Entry Details
• Entries will be judged on originality, interpretation, and visual impact.• Bookmark design and art must be original. No outside assistance is permitted.• Participate in the People’s Choice Award by ‘Liking’ your favorite bookmark entries in our Create-A-Bookmark Facebook album (@Libraryforlife). Voting takes place March 27 to April 9, 2019.
Judging Criteria
• Winners will be invited to attend an awards ceremony Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., at the Main Library.• Winning bookmarks will be distributed to all South Bend 1st Source Banking Centers and SJCPL locations during April 2019.• Winning bookmarks will be enlarged to poster size and exhibited on the 2rd Floor of the Main Library from April 11 ` to May 12, 2019.• All winning entries become the property of the St. Joseph County Public Library to be distributed and reprinted at the library’s discretion.
