NunkimarksthenapeoftheArcher’sarrowpointingtowardGalacticCenter.Thismeanstheeclipseisactivatingthisnexusorconvergencepoint(thevaneofthearrowisdrawnfullybackonthebow)pointingthewaytothecenterofourgalaxy.TheSolarEclipserepresentsareleasepoint,analchemicalconcentrationofenergiesalignedconnectingwithourpastinwaysthatareintendedtobesupportiveofourforwardmovement,beingreleasedtowardGalacticCenterandthenresentout.

ThisisatimewhenitmightbeusefultointendthatallenergeticdistortionsyouhaveeverexperiencedarebeinggatheredupandsenttoGalacticCentertoberecycledandrenewedatthisMegaSuperNewMoon.

Vegahasbeendescribedas“TheVultureStar”or“TheSittingVulture”thatwasdepictedwithalyreinitsbeakinthestoryofOrpheus,themusicianwhoattemptedtosavehisbelovedfromtheunderworld.UponOrpheus’deathJupiter(a.k.aZeus)sentavulturetorescuetheLyreoutoftheriverandthenitwasplaceditinthesky.

InsomeculturesVulturesarefearedandthoughttobeabadomenscausingbadluckorisviewedasagreatlyfearddeathsymbol.However,inotherculturestheVulturewashonoredandrevered.ForexampleinEgypt,theVultureGoddessNekhbetisdepictedoverdoorwaysthatletthepeopleknowtheywereenteringasacredholyspace.Thesemedicinebirdsaregreatteachersintherealmsofalchemyandefficientuseofenergyforjoyfulliving.

ThescientificnamefortheVultureisCathartesAuraor“GoldenPurifier”becauseVulturesturndeathintolife,cleaningandpurifyingtheenvironmentintheprocess.Vulturesknowhowtoliveinharmonywiththe

In2003withthediscoveryofanearEarthAstroidknownas2003EHthismeteorshower’sprimaryparentageisconsideredtonowbeknown.TheLowellObservatory(NearFlagstaffArizona)suggeststhismeteorshowerislikelyanextinctJupiterfamily.

In2019thismeteorshowerfallsaroundtheNewMoonEclipseexactonJanuary5/6dependingonyourtimezone.ThismeansmoonlightdoesnotinterferewithobservingtheQuarantids.Themaximumispredictedtooccurredaround9PMEastern/6PMPacific

In1835themeteorshowerwasseeninwhatwasthenknownasQuadransMuralistortheMuralQuadrant,aconstellationcreatedbytheFrenchastronomerJeromeLalandein1795.In1930astronomersredrewtheconstellationscreating88constellationsintheskyandrenamedmanyofthem–QuardransMuralistbecameknownasBootes.

FredSchaffwritingforSkyandTelescopetellsusthatthePerseusconstellationisoneofthebrightestconstellationsintheskyandisworthyofourattentionespeciallywhenweconsiderthemythicstoriesconnectedtothispartofthesky.PerseusistheheroandthechampionwhosavedAndromedafromCetusthemonstrouswhale.QueenCassiopeiawifeofCepheusupsetPoseidonwhenshebraggedthatshewasmorebeautifulthanhisseanymphs.PoseidonsentCetustodestroytherehomeinEthiopia.

CassiopeiaandherhusbandconsultedanOracleandweretoldtheymustsacrificetheirdaughtertostoptheattack.InthisversionofthestorytheychainedAndromedatoarockforthemonstertoclaim.PerseuscameandrescuedAndromedaandlatertheygotmarried.

AnotherversionofthestorydescrubesAndromedabeingtheonlyoneinhertownthatwaswillingtofacethemonstertosaveherpeople(moreofanAriesFeminineTelling).WhileAndromedaisdoingbattlewiththeseamonsterPerseusshowsupandtheybattlethemonstertogether–eventuallydefeatingitinacollaborativeteameffort.

CygnusisvisibleearlyeveningskywithitsnortherncrossconfigurationstandinguprightonthehorizonjustsouthofNorthwest.

Vegawasourpolestar13,000yearsagoandislovelytoseenearCygnus.PolarisisnowourPoleStarmeaningitistheonlystarintheSkythatdoesnotmovefromtheEarth’sperspective.
