HOTA Outdoor Stage - Young Hearts Run Free
It’s been over 20 years since Baz Luhrmann turned the greatest love story ever told into the greatest sound track ever sold. This May, HOTA will bring back the 90’s nostalgia as Australian music royalty perform the full soundtrack at this year’s biggest masquerade dance party.
National Geographic—Symphony of our World
HOTA presents this inspiring 90-minute live orchestral performance with ground-breaking imagery and storytelling from 130 years of beloved National Geographic history matched in perfect synchronization with a live performance from Queensland Chamber Orchestra, Camerata and special performance from the HOTA Choir. Driven by a five-part composition, Symphony for Our World pairs artistry with science as it brings viewers from the depths of the sea, up to coastlines, over mountains and soaring into the sky. Each environment will be accompanied by a different orchestral movement, resulting in a powerful musical tribute to the beauty and wonders of our wild world.

Bendigo BankMajor Partner, GLOW Festival 2018
‘Veracity is proud to be a corporate partner with HOTA, Home of the Arts. We have found this partnership to be particularly beneficial for our clients, staff and company in general. In December 2018, we hosted an amazing event for our clients at HOTA. It was remarkable because HOTA cared as much as we did about making it sizzle.
HOTA’s development, technical, catering and events teams all worked tirelessly in unison to ensure our client exhibition & lunch was truly memorable. Great partnerships aspire to do more than achieve agreed goals. They challenge us to be better businesses. Veracity is a better business for partnering with HOTA’.Bill Owens, Veracity

Come on board our future is bright
In our first year as HOTA, Home of the Arts we’ve presented artists of a calibre not seen before on the Gold Coast. As we complete construction of our new HOTA Gallery and link to Chevron Island and Surfers Paradise with our new pedestrian bridge HOTA will become the central cultural precinct for the city’s thriving cultural and artistic activity.
At HOTA, we believe art changes lives — and the best is yet to come.
