2019 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL VICTORY PARADE ROUTE

Parade routeRoad closed between 1pm - 4pm

KEY

Road closedfrom 12pm - 8pm

Road closed from 8am - 8pm

Road closed from 8am - 8pm

PLEASE NOTE

Local stations and roads will be subject to restrictions on the day

An extended Event Day Controlled Parking Zone in Haringey and Enfield will be in operation 1.5 miles around the stadium

There will be parking restrictions from 8am – 8pm on all highlighted roads.

VIEWING ADVICE FOR LOCAL RESIDENTSWe advise local residents to view the celebrations from a point along the parade route – either on Northumberland Park or Lansdowne Road. As soon as the open-top buses have passed, we strongly recommend that you return home as the High Road will be exceptionally busy and congestion – by car and on foot – is expected in the local area.

THE ROUTE The team will take part in an open-top bus parade, with two buses leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium via Northumberland Park, following the route identified on the map above, finishing along the High Road, at the junction of Church Road and Park Lane.

The Victory Parade will start at approximately 2.30pm. To make the parade route as safe and as accessible as possible, we strongly advise fans and local residents who wish to view the parade to spread yourselves throughout the route and to get in position early.

A temporary stage will be erected on the High Road outside the stadium’s West Stand to receive the players and coaching staff for a presentation of the trophy.

The High Road between White Hart Lane and Lansdowne Road will be closed to all through traffic for the entirety of the main celebration event (1pm - 8pm), to allow for fans to gather in front of the West Stand on the High Road.

The entire parade route will be partly barriered and stewarded with pedestrian crossing points in operation to allow movement of people around the route.

The route could get very busy. Post-event crowd management plans may have to be implemented to manage dispersal.

If the Club is successful and wins the UEFA Champions League Final, then we will hold a Victory Parade in the local area on Sunday 2 June 2019.

ROAD CLOSURESDifferent roads will be closed at different times. Please see the map for further details. Where possible, roads will be reopened sooner than publicised – however, this will be based on crowd management operations on the day.

TIMINGSWhile the parade is only expected to last an hour, the preparation and clearing up will take significantly longer. The first road closures and restrictions will be implemented from 8am to allow the barriers to be deployed and the presentation stage to be built on the High Road.

It is expected that crowds would start to gather very early with the parade to begin at 2.30pm.

Following the parade, street cleaning and barrier removal teams will start as soon as crowd conditions allow. Once the barriers have been removed, a phased reopening of the roads will be considered by the event organisers, the local authorities and the Police assuming it is safe to do so.

EMERGENCY SERVICESSignificant planning has taken place with emergency services and the local authorities to ensure emergency vehicles and staff will not be prohibited from carrying out their duties during the events.

CLEANING UPFollowing the parade, a full clean-up of the parade route and affected local streets will be carried out to return the area to normal as quickly as possible.

SAFETY AND SECURITYSignificant numbers of stewards and security personnel from the Club will be on hand throughout the parade route to assist you on the day and will work with our colleagues from the Metropolitan Police in ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable day.

Please do comply with any instructions that they provide which may include areas you cannot access, queuing arrangements and your compliance with any/all search and screening protocols.

PARKING RESTRICTIONSBoth the screening at the stadium and the Victory Parade are classed as Major Event Days. Due to the parade route you will be asked to move your on-street vehicle.

Please check map to the left for additional parking restrictions. If you leave your car parked in a suspended space, it will be relocated to a neighbouring street.

You will need to contact Trace (Towed Vehicle Tracing Services) on 0845 206 8602 or https://trace.london for information.

To prevent fans from parking in local roads, all normal match day parking restrictions will be enforced. Please make sure that you read on-street signage prior to parking on affected roads on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2019.
