{00295167-1 } 8/7/2013 20/20 Imaging Service Bulletin 1 Avast Antivirus To our Valued Customers: It has recently come to our attention that there is a change in a 3 rd party antivirus software that may be installed on your system and that may impact the optimal use of your system. Windows Systems running Avast Antivirus (Free Edition) in conjunction with any 2020 DR panel or CR scanner may see reduced image quality. When Avast updated its virus definitions on 08/03/2013, the new update caused Avast to recognize our 2020 UAI and our enhancement license as a virus; thus, removing our enhancement license’s from the acquire interface causing the images to no longer be Diagnostic. How to determine if you have Avast Antivirus: You will see an orange circle with the white “a” in the center of it in the lower right hand corner of the computer screen by the time and date. How to determine if your system was impacted: The image on the left (Image A) of a chest below is from when the enhancements were removed and no longer worked correctly. The second image (Image B) is what it would have looked like before the update was done. Image A Image B 471 Jennings Dr. Suite A Lake in the Hills, IL 60156 866-734-6234 web: www.2020imaging.net
