Admission Requirements

In addition to the information required on the application form, the following documents must be provided during your application:

• Degree certificates (bachelor’s degree diploma for master’s degree application and bachelor’s and master’s degree diplomas for PhD application)

• University transcripts (bachelor’s degree transcript for master’s degree application and bachelor’s and master’s degree transcripts for PhD application)

• TOEFL (518 PBT/65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5) or a pass in the English proficiency test of the university upon arrival

• Passport photocopy

Application Procedure• Apply online (www.ciu.edu.tr) or via our representatives with the required documents.

• If eligibility is confirmed, you will receive our conditional acceptance letter (CAL) from the international office via e-mail.

• Transfer the minimum required payment as stated on the CAL to the CIU account through your local bank.

• After the initial installment is transferred, you will receive your unconditional acceptance letter (UAL) from the international office via e-mail.

• With your UAL, apply for your visa at the nearest Turkish Embassy or TRNC Representative Office (if necessary).

• Book your flight to North Cyprus Ercan Airport and inform the CIU International Office about your itinerary in order to reserve your airport pick up.

AccommodationCyprus International University endeavours to meet the housing needs of all students and currently provides 17 high quality, comfortable and well-designed on-campus residence halls, giving students a peaceful and convenient environment to study in the comfort of their new home.

All rooms include free and unlimited internet access, desk and office chair, bookshelves, wardrobe, bed, mini fridge, land-line telephone and TV connection.

CIU on-campus accommodation consists of two types: studios and apartments, both with different options for sharing.

Accommodation Only

Includes 2 or 3 bedroom self-catering apartments. This type of accommodation features a fully equipped kitchen so that students can, if they wish, cook their own meals.

The tuition fee of €350/course, registration and other fees and student union and health insurance will be added to the prices below.

All Inclusive Package

The all inclusive package includes accommodation fee, deposit and the meal plan excluding tuition fee. The tuition fee of €350/course for the master programs and €650/course for the PhD programs will be added to the bellow prices as well as the other service fees. Prices are per academic year.
