Royalty

Competition• Everyone must have a sponsor organization that is willing

to assume campaign responsibilities.

• Any campus group or organization may sponsor anorganization.

• No cross campaigning; one candidate per organization. Candidates can not run with two different organizations.

• Candidates for royalty will run as individuals and will be voted as individuals

• Candidates must be UWEC students in good academicstanding.

• Candidates must fill out the Homecoming Royalty Form by Friday, Sept. 25. • Form is on Blugold Connect and linked on

the website.

• Photos will be displayed on the electronic bulletin boards in Davies and will be used forvoting.

• Campaign materials are allowed in residence halls as designated by the Hall Director (you are responsible for contacting the hall director).

• Campaign materials are NOT allowed in DAVIES, HILLTOP, CREST WELLNESS CENTER, or any ACADEMIC BUILDING.

Lawn Signs

• Signs can be no larger than 24”x24” andcan only be posted using a wirestake.

• Each candidate can post up to 10signs

• Signs will be confiscated if rules are broken.

• Post: MONDAY, SEPT. 28 at 11am

• Remove: THURSDAY, OCT. 1 at6pm

If you do not remove, they will be taken byFacilities.

Window Painting

• Each organization will be responsible for its ownsupplies. Do not use anything that will scratch orcause permanent damage.

• Register for a time slot with the SignUpGenius link on the Homecoming website.

• Design should include the organizations name and/or logo.

• Windows in Davies Center will be assigned by the Homecoming Committee after the contract deadline.

• Judging will take place on Monday, Sept. 28 at3pm.

• Windows will be judged on relationship to Blugold spirit, originality, and artistic creativity.

• The painting can not promote a candidate.

• Failure to adequately clean windows will result in being billed $25 for clean- up inaddition to a15-point deduction of sweepstakes points foreach day past the designated clean- updeadline.

• What: Virtual fitness events. Choose one or all events: run/walk 3 miles, bike 8 miles or paddle 1 mile.

• Cost: Participants can register for free, option to donate to Recreation or purchase a t-shirt

• When: Virtual event(s) can be completed Sept 28th- October 3rd• How to Participate:

• Print your free race bib use it as a photo prop as you complete your event(s)• Submit photos by hash tagging #RecUnite2020 on Facebook, Instagram, or• Twitter, direct messaging the photos to Campus Rec’s social media pages or

emailing Campus Rec the submission at recreation@uwec.edu.
