Order Taking: Girls can use an order card to collect orders then deliver!

Direct: Girls can go door-to-door, participate in booth sales*, and join in troop or group walkabouts to mentor and encourage one another!

Please note: A special request must be made to hold a fall booth sales. Let your Troop Product Coordinator know if you would like to participate in booth sales. They will check with the Booth Sale Coordinator for booth availability.

Digital: Girls may send text messages and emails inviting friends and family to order products online using the M2OS online sales program.

Girls and parents are highly encourage in using the online platform for collecting fall product orders. Customers order online, pay online, and can choose to have the product shipped to them or delivered by their favorite Girl Scout.

• Girls are only to use the internet to market the Girl Scout Fall Product Program to friends and family (for clarity, “friends and family” are people whom the girl or her family personally know).

• For safety purposes, online marketing activities, especially those conducted through social media platforms, should always be done through accounts set to “private”.

• Friends and family of a girl participating in the Fall Program must not market or share a girl’s contact information, sales links, or sales information on public-facing online sites.

• Parents guide their daughters when making individual learning and sales goals. Parents determine the number of products to order and are responsible for payment of all products received.

• Parents are responsible for all money collected from customers.

• Troops set group goals and order products to meet their goals. Parents are asked to respect the troop goals when making decisions about how many products they will be responsible for selling.

• Parents should obtain signed receipts for all products received and for all money submitted to troop.

• Troops may not set quotas for individual girls or require payment from parents in advance.

• Wear your Girl Scout uniform and pins when selling.

• Tell customers how your troop will use the troop proceeds.

Helpful Hint: Make a poster to show customers your goals and how your troop will use troop proceeds.

LAUNCHING HER FALL PRODUCT BUSINESS

4 Easy Steps to Rise Up with M2

Parents/Girls will receive an email from M2 Media which will include key details about participating using the M2OS online system including how to register, videos and more!

Didn’t receive an email? No problem! Go to gsnutsandmags.com/gsoc and follow the prompts to set up an M2 account with your Girl Scout. You’ll need to have your troop number ready to help you set up an account. Girls can only have one M2 account, so please do not create more than one!

Help your Girl Scout create her own personalized storefront and avatar. Creating an avatar is fun and easy. You will also be able to upload a photo and video for friends and family to see. This step is optional, but has been proven to increase sales. Girls have the opportunity to earn their own avatar patch! Send emails! Girls who send at least fifteen emails through M2 have 148% higher sales than girls who don’t.

To earn this patch girls will need to:

• Create an M2 Avatar in the Fall Product • Send 18 emails through M2 in the Fall • Sell 250 packages of cookies during the 2022 Cookie Programs

THESE PATCHES WILL SHIP IN MAY DIRECTLY TO YOUR HOME.

Once you have sent your emails, you can also share your storefront on social media. Customers can choose the Direct Ship option, purchase from a full assortment of Girl Scout products or magazines, and pay with a credit card. These items will be directly sent to the customer, with no money to collect or product to deliver.

Girls can choose to offer an online girl delivered option to customers in the local area where the customer pays for nuts online with a credit card and then the girl delivers the online girl delivered order with the rest of her in person nut, candy orders. All sales are automatically reported in M2OS. With this option, customers can select from the 16 nut and candy items listed on the paper order card.

Deadline: The last day girls receive credit for online orders is October 17, 2021. Be sure to personalize your email to customers, encouraging them to order before the end date. Online orders cannot be placed after October 17, 2021.
