school, from the comfort and safety of home.

G R A D E S8 - 1 1Teneo Independent School caters to all Senior Phase (SP) and further education and training

(FET) phase IEB students from Grade 8 to 11.

All coursework, assignments, and projects are submitted on our system and parents are able to

create an observer login to check attendance and grades.

F E E STHERE ARE THREE WAYS TO PAY:

Fees for 2021

Total fees for 2021 will be R32 890 per annum. These are payable monthly/termly/annually

ANNUAL PAYMENT: Pay the annual fee of R 32 890 and receive a 7% discount upon full

settlement

TERMLY PAYMENT: 4 x R8222.50 per term payable in advance of the term. Student also

receives free access to Xtra Maths for that term.

MONTHLY PAYMENT: 10 x R3289.00 monthly installments (February – November) - paid in

advance of each month. One month’s notice is required should you wish to discontinue with

Teneo.

**PLEASE NOTE: One month’s notice is required should you decide to leave Teneo at any time during enrolment. Fees exclude textbooks, IEB Examination and venue fees applicable only in Gr. 12. **

follow that set out by the Department of Basic Education and the IEB.

• All teaching, coursework, exams, assessments, projects, independent study, etc. are done in our

Teneo learning management system.

R E Q U I R E M E N T SF O R S E T - U PALL YOU NEED IS:

• A laptop or desktop computer with 2.0 Ghz + processor, 4 gigs (RAM) PLUS a webcam &

microphone.

• Internet connection - 10 mbps+ download speed & 2mbps upload speed. 50+ gigs of WIFI per

student per month – Advanced LTE is available from most service providers.

• Latest version of Google Chrome.

• Printer & Scanner / Back-up source is recommended. Scanner apps are available for

smartphones & tablets. Need one that can create multi-page PDF doc from multiple scanned

pages.

• Teneo will supply Office 365 (excl. CAT and IT students as they need Microsoft Access).

T E X T B O O K SWe make it as easy as possible to access each grades set list of textbooks. There is a link on

www.teneoschool.co.za home page that will take you to the ITSI store where most of our

textbooks in e-Book form can be found.

Textbooks can be purchased in eBook form on the ITSI website (Windows 10, MacOS, IOS or

Android Device required) or as hard copies from any school supplier.

*eBooks purchased through our ITSI store cannot be printed. (Approx. budget for all books per year - R900 - R1000 p.a)
