Habasit, the original manufacturer of nonwoven belting, continues to provide the material handling market with high-performance products. Our Ulti-Mate “S” Series belts are designed to alleviate many problems associated withstandard woven and nonwoven PVC belts currently used in unit/package handling applications.

Features and Benefits:

Nonwoven construction : reduces noise generation, eliminates edge fray and delamination, and reduces energy consumption. SBR rubber saturant : minimizes build-up of contaminants which lessens conveyor cleaning and marking of packages.Anti-static properties : eliminates shock to plant personnel and sensitive electronic equipment.

Ulti-Mate “S” Series

Live Roller Belts

Narrow Live Roller Belts

Systems utilizing narrow (<2 inch), high efficiency belts, usuallyspliced on the system or installed endless.

Habasit’s high efficiency, flat power transmission belts arecommonly used by manufacturers because of theiroutstanding characteristics.

The TC, TCF and TF series flat power transmission belts offer:

• Excellent dimensional stability in changing environmental conditions (humidity, temperature)which means no re-tensioning

• Very high strength, yet very flexible, highly engineereddesign which reduces energy consumption, component sizes, and extends belt life

• Easy and quick joining on the conveyor with Habasittools that do not require adhesives for bonding

The new TF-100T is made with Aramide cords embedded inthe TPU layer. This belt is economically priced and madedomestically to help decrease rising replacement costs.

Wide Live Roller Belts

Systems utilizing wider conveyor belt (>2 inch) which is usually laced.

Habasit’s premium wide live roller belts are found in theUlti-Mate® range. The Ulti-Mate® products are engineeredwith a nonwoven belt construction which providesmany advantages over standard domestic PVC belts.

The Ulti-Mate® belts, without PVC covers, haveadditional advantages over other nonwoven belts in thatthey are saturated with rubber materials instead of PVC.This eliminates “pick-off” or marking of rollers whichcan leave black marks on packages.

The Ulti-Mate® series belts (UM, UMS) are also anti-static, so will “bleed off” static charges which maybuild up and ruin sensitive electronic readers or sensorsor shock line workers.

The TrackMate® series of live roller belts are a moreeconomical option for a nonwoven belt. They too offerlow noise running and unparalleled lace holding.

Round Live Roller Belts 5

Habasit’s round belts or “O-rings” for line shaft, live rollerconveyors are the toughest in the industry. Both Habicord®

and Polycord® belts are made with high strength, high qualityTPU material without the fillers that some other companiesuse. The result is a product that will not stretch out and thatresists abrasion, which reduces belt diameter until the beltcan no longer drive the roller.

Our endless round belts are made on sophisticated automated joining equipment which insures:

• Reliable joint quality so belts will not fail at the splice

• Consistent dimensional accuracy so you get the fullpower transmission required

• Consistent alignment of the ends during joining to prevent belt from “twisting” during operation, which accelerates abrasion

ColorDiameters

(mm)Length

Habicord® translucent 3, 4, 5 any size

Polycord® green 3, 4, 5 any size

Elastic Belts

Habasit’s abrasion resistant rubber covered orPolyurethane elastic belts can be "pre-tensioned" by agiven amount so that they can be easily applied to rollers. This solution can help prevent package skewing orslipping on rollers, which can lead to missorts down theline and decreased throughput.

Belt Cover material Min. pulley diam. Thickness Tensile Force

MAB-02 TPU 10 mm (0.4") 1.1 mm (0.04") 2.6 lbs./in. for 3% elongation

MAT-02H NBR 15 mm (0.6") 1.4 mm (0.06") 1.9 lbs./in. for 3% elongation

WVT-125 TPU 15 mm (0.4") 1.2 mm (0.06") 3 lbs./in. for 3% elongation

Features and Benefits

• Abrasion resistant covers : long belt life

• Constant positive grip : prevents slipping or skewing

• Dimensionally stable : high throughput and uniform performance

• Elastic : quickly installed

• Non-marking covers : no scratches or black marks on packages

Systems utilizing round belts driven by a lineshaft “o-rings”
