Consultation in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (36 CFR Part 800) is underway.
FHWA formally initiated Section 106 review.
A total of seven (7) historic properties are located within Area of Potential Effects
A determination of National Register of Historic Places eligibility for the Dupont
Circle Vehicular Underpass and Streetcar
Tunnels is underway
Information concerning the Determination of Eligibility and Assessment of Effects will be coordinated with the DC Historic Preservation Office
This meeting is part of the Section 106 consultation process
