Please note Villefranche is the only tender port during our sailing. It means our ship is not docked at the port, but you have to take a smaller boat to get on shore. During the full day tour of Rome, we will visit the Coliseum - one of the most important monuments of ancient Rome and a true masterpiece of classic architecture. This enormous amphitheater is where once the gladiators, Christians and wild beasts bat-tled to the death in front of 50.000 spectators. We will also take you to the Trevi Fountain, where you will be able “to toss a coin” ensuring your return to Rome someday.We will walk along the famous narrow streets to reach the Spanish Steps which were completed in 1726; the Steps create one of the Rome’s most dramatic and distinctive landmarks. Your luggage
Your luggage - with the exception of your carry on – will need to be set outside of your stateroom the night before departure between 19.00 and 23.00. You should put the color luggage tags on your bags, which you will find in your state-room. On the departure day, you will claim your luggage in the bag-gage claim area of the pier terminal.
On the last day of the Gold CruiseOn the last day of the Gold Cruise - The Liberty of the Seas enters the port at 6.00. Your alimentation package also includes a breakfast on the last morning of the cruise. It is recommended that you have your hand luggage with you during breakfast. All passengers have to leave the ship by 9.00.

SeaPassOnce you board the ship, you will receive an individual ID card that will serve as your room key and boarding pass at ports of call. It can also be used to access your Onboard Expense Account and to make onboard purchases.The SeaPass card will be used to check your identity each time you board and leave the vessel. The card is linked to electronic data, including the guest’s photograph to assist with onboard activities such as verifying the guest’s identity when they leave and return to the ship.

ONBOARD PAYMENT METHODSThe Liberty of the Seas operates on a “cashless” system, meaning your boarding card, (also known as your SeaPass card), will be used as a charge card to make all onboard purchases. Normally to activate this SeaPass account, most guests pro-vide a credit card, (American Express, Optima, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diner’s Club), to have these purchases charged to at the end of their cruise. Additionally, the SeaPass system may be activated with traveller’s checks, debit cards from Visa or MasterCard, or just cash.
A running tab of all your purchas-es will be kept under separate folio numbers for each guest and an itemized statement left in your stateroom the night before disem-barkation. If you provided a credit card and there are no discrepan-cies, the amount will be charged to your account on the morning of disembarkation. If you have used traveller’s checks or cash to activate the account, you will need to settle the account at the Guest Relations desk.

FAQs1. What if I’m left at the port?
If you’re left at the port, please contact a port officer who will get in touch with someone on the ship. Please note that your transfer to the next port of call is on your own expense in such case. Each time you leave the ship you need to have your Photo ID and SeaPass card with you. Once it is scanned we know you’re on shore and when you’re back.Port emergency contacts are printed in the Daily Compass newsletter. Also, an interna-tional and free of charge telephone number is shown on your SeaPass card.
2. Can I bring liquor or non-alcoholic beverages (from home or from a port) onboard?
Guests are not allowed to bring beer, hard liq-uor or non-alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use. Guests may bring personal wine and champagne onboard only on boarding day, limited to two (2) 750 ml bottles per stateroom. When consumed in any public area, each bottle shall be subject to a corkage fee of $25.00. Additional bottles of wine beyond two (2) bottles that are brought onboard or any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports-of-call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your state-room on the last day of the sailing. Alcoholic beverages seized on embarkation day will not be returned.Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over con-sume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense. Guests who are under the permitted drinking age will not have alcohol re-turned to them.
3. Is the ship safe? How many life-saving crafts does the ship carry?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, the ship is equipped with a number of life-saving crafts for everyone on board, plus additional capacity in reserve, per regulatory requirements.
4. Can I keep valuables in my stateroom?
The ship has safes in every stateroom where you can store your valuables.
5. Is the water on the ship safe to drink?
Yes. All drinking water is either distilled from seawater or loaded onboard while the ship is in port. Royal Caribbean adheres to Vessel Sanitation Program standards published by the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS). The USPHS conducts inspections of the ship, both during its construction and throughout the year, to ensure compliance.
6. Are ATM machines available onboard?
All ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet have ATM machines. There is a transaction fee lev-ied by BB&T, the owners of the ATMs, plus any other fees the guest’s financial institution would charge.
7. Is there room service onboard?
Room service is available onboard any time of the day or night - simply order from the room service menu located in your stateroom/suite (late night service charge of $3.95* applies).

FAQs10. Smoking Policy on board
All Indoor public areas are smoke free, with the exception of the Casino and the Connois-seur Club. In the Casino, there will be designat-ed smoking and non-smoking areas.Outdoor smoking areas are located on the pool deck, only on one side of the ship.
Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom and any stateroom balcony. This applies to all stateroom categories onboard. If a guest is in violation of this stateroom policy, a cleaning fee of $250 USD will be applied to their SeaPass® account and may be subject to further action pursuant to the “Consequences Section” of the Guest Conduct Policy.Electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes are only permitted within the designated smoking areas.
8. Are laundry services provided?
A self-service laundry facilities are not pro-vided onboard our ships, but we do offer full laundry and dry cleaning services. We do not provide irons in the staterooms as they consti-tute a fire hazard.
9. What items are not allowed onboard the cruise ship?
Weapons, illegal drugs, and other items that could interfere with the safe operation of the ship or the safe and secure environment of our guests and crew are prohibited. The following are examples of items that guests are not al-lowed to bring onboard. These and other simi-lar items will be confiscated upon being found. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, flammable liquids, explosives, and dangerous chemicals will not be returned.
• Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic replicas.
• Sharp Objects, including all knives and scissors. (Note: Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length less than 4 inches are allowed.)
