THREE BEAR In 2009, Three Bear Lodge opened a facility in West Yellowstone that is as unique as Yellowstone National Park itself. As a result of a fire in February 2008, part of the original 1932 Three Bear was carefully taken down, allowing the new lodge to utilize materials salvaged from the original building. With handmade furniture crafted with reclaimed wood (from the massive headboards to the towel holders), every room in the new Lodge has a special feel.

During the building of the Lodge, we developed a limited number of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” themed rooms to create memories that will last a lifetime. The interior of the Motel was also refurbished during this time. Some rooms feature private balconies.

GROUPS Located at the west gate of Yellowstone National Park, Three Bear Lodge is the ideal location for family reunions, meetings and events for groups up to 125. With 70 guest rooms, 3 conference rooms and an on-site restaurant, Three Bear Lodge can meet all of the needs for your gathering.

Our conference venues are also ideal for your company’s off-site meetings, corporate retreats, lectures, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, anniversaries and year-end functions. All our meeting spaces have complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, high quality audio visual equipment and choice of seating configurations customized to your requirements. Any of our staff will be happy to assist you in creating the perfect group gathering.

AMENITIES Whether you are staying in the Lodge or Motel section, the common areas are for everyone to enjoy. Wind down after a day in the Park with a swim in our heated outdoor pool, relax in our indoor heated soaking tubs or just chill out on the public balcony. For the more energetic guests, we have a fitness room. During your stay we encourage you to take a stroll around the hotel and discover the history of the property through the various historical displays.

RESTAURANT Known for great food and friendly service, the Three Bear Restaurant has been an icon for breakfast and dinner since 1955. The décor brings to life the colorful past of Yellowstone Park. The varied menu, including our famous steaks, prime rib and seafood pleases all tastes. Enjoy a beverage in the adjoining Grizzly Lounge, and save room for our signature dessert Apple Brown Betty.
