Speaker: LySaundra Campbell, Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence

Description: The workforce has changed over the past couple decades from

As technology has become an essential component of our daily lives, we must rethink our role in responding to and preventing domestic and sexual violence. Some people misuse technology to abuse, stalk or harass. However, each of us has a critical role to play as technology safety advocates to increase safety and privacy for survivors, hold people who cause harm accountable, and utilize digital spaces as tools for social change. This session will allow participants to gain a better understanding of technology and safety planning for victims, including ways to protect yourself online.
