Elsie obtained her BSc degree in Maritime Studies from Singapore Nanyang Technological University and BI Norwegian School of Management in 2009. She joined DNV GL in 2009, as a DNV GL Technical International Trainee. During the two years, she was involved in cross functional services including ship survey, maritime environmental solutions, and LNG technology qualification in four global offices: Singapore, Oslo, New York and Perth. Since returning to DNV GL Singapore, she has mainly focused on the application of LNG as marine fuel. She was the main project team member of the prominent Joint Industry Project on Singapore LNG Bunkering. Other key projects she has led include technical and financial feasibility assessment of LNG bunkering in a number of Asian and Oceania ports, technical advice on ships using LNG as fuel, bunkering logistic model development, bunkering operational procedures guidance, and LNG fuel demand forecast. Elsie is one of the representative member of Singapore LNG bunkering Pro Tem Committee established in 2014.
