Baylor earned its second Big 12 Soccer Regular-Season Title and first regular season title since 1998 after defeating Oklahoma 1-0.

The No. 2-seed West Virginia Mountaineers were crowned 2018 Big 12 Soccer Champions after battling their way through No. 7-seed Oklahoma (3-0), No. 3-seed Texas (1-0) and No. 1-seed Baylor (3-0).

For the third time in the past five seasons, six Big 12 programs earned a place in the 2018 NCAA Soccer Championship with all teams hosting. The Big 12 has earned at least five or more bids in each of the last three seasons and four out of the last five.

Fifty percent of Big 12 teams (Baylor, Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia) advanced to the second round of the NCAA Soccer Championship for the first time since 2008.

Baylor advanced to the Quarterfinal round of the NCAA Soccer Championship, securing the program’s first-ever back-to-back trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals. This marks the 11th overall time, and fifth since 2011, a Big 12 team has earned a spot in the Quarterfinals.
