• Fig GI 23-1 Typical small bowel obstruction on (A) supine and (B) upright projections.
• Fig GI 23-2 Carcinoma of the jejunum causing small bowel obstruction. There is pronounced dilatation of the duodenum and proximal jejunum to the level of the annular constricting tumor (arrow).
• Fig GI 23-3 Gallstone ileus. Upper gastrointestinal series demonstrates the obstructing stone (white arrows) and barium in the biliary tree (black arrow).
