Typical subject combinations: 3 H2, 1 H1, MT, General paper, Project work
H1- Half the content of H2, study to same depth as H2 H2 – standard subject H3 – extension of H2
Example of Science Requirements from a JC (2017 Science Cut-off points:11) Students who are offered H1 or H2 Physics, Chemistry or Biology
must have obtained a grade of 'C6' or better in the relevant 'O' Level subject (either as Pure Science or Combined Science).
Students who have obtained 'O' Level Combined Science, without any other Pure Sciences, are eligible for only one H2 Science subject. Eligible students may opt to take the 2nd science subject at H1 if they have grades of 'A1' in the following three subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Combined Science
