Acting Principals Message Kiss "n" Drop Just a reminder that in the "Kiss n Drop" zones, parents cannot park and leave their cars. A number of parents have become quite angry with other parents who have asked them to move on as they are causing congestion in the morning or afternoon. Please abide by the traffic signs so that flow of traffic is maintained and also to ensure you do not get a parking fine, should the Police patrol the area. Kaylene Maretich Acting Principal

RE News

Pope Francis @pontifex "Dear young people, I would like to tell each one of you: God loves you. Never doubt it whatever happens to you in life under any circumstance, you ae infinitely loved."

Sacramental News Congratulations to our beautiful children who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last week. Thank you to the families who came along to the Liturgy and showed such reverence and respect for the occasion. Special thanks to our "big brothers and sisters" who assisted with the prayers. There has been a revision made to the weekends for receiving First Communion as we don't have as many children as we first thought. Therefore, after speaking with Father Stephen, we have deleted the first of these Masses- the 18th August, therefore a new note is coming home, asking you to choose again. Apologies for any inconvenience this causes. Please look for the note in your child's bag and return it ASAP. Please make 2 selections. The numbers need to be around 20 each week.

Pyjama Day This Friday is our fundraiser for St Vincent de Paul to provide nourishing food for families and donate a small amount for the members to use to assist families in need. Each class has had a washing basket to collect various goods. Please have these in for Friday so we can pass the goods on to members of our New Lambton group. All students are invited to wear their pyjamas for the day/or something warm and cosy and donate $2:00 for this privilege. Vickie Pettett Religious Coordinator

Sport Iber Cup Newsletter Blurb Four students from our school have been selected to represent the Jobe Wheelhouse Football Academy in Spain and Portugal on an 18-day International tournament. Nate B, Angus G, Oscar M and Felix Dos S will arrive in Lisbon, Portugal where they will participate in the Iber Cup Football Tournament for a week. They will then move on to Madrid where they get a once in a lifetime technical training session with Real Madrid. They will then travel to Barcelona where the second Iber Cup Tournament commences. The boys will have the opportunity to explore Camp Nou the home of the mighty Barcelona Football Club. They will then head back to the airport to fly home to Sydney. In their spare time the boys have the chance to relax on the beaches of Europe and leisurely explore the towns. The students will leave on Friday 28th June and will return home around Monday 16th July. As a school we are very proud of their achievements and wish them the very best on their long journey.

Regional Athletics Carnival All students attending the Regional Athletics carnival on the 2nd July will need to arrange their own transport to and from the event and meet Miss Carly Mortimer at the venue. Please note the venue for this year’s carnival has changed and all current details including the time to be there are on the paperwork that the successful students have received. Good luck to all the students who are competing. Reminder to pay $10 to office. Deb Petersen Coordinator
