O Lord our God. Thou hast God the only one at the top of
heaven, and at the bottom of the earth. You manage all States
and peoples. In the hand of thy serfdom and strength, no one
can not oppose you. God has no such human power and
strength to fight the enemy who is looming in Ukraine and
what we do not know. Therefore, our eyes only pay you and
will be carried - because only in you we will notice - you are
the only one you can win, both in small and in the big. Help
us, O Lord, our God. for only thy holy hope is our name. Lord,
thou hast our God, let not the man against thee. Help the
warrior fight the enemy. Send fear upon our enemies and
spread off their forces, let them shake and run away. You are
our saver and the victory of the faithful that thou has given
unto the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
now, all the time, and for ages to come.

A Belated Sincere Thank You
A few weeks ago, we received a thank you letter
from Images of God, a chapter of The Right to Life
Organization. They wanted to thank everyone who
donated baby items and money. They estimated we
donated over $3,500 in items, including the cash
donations to help the young women who have decided
not to have an abortion, but to keep the baby and
raise the child with help from others like us.
I personally want to thank everyone who attended the
Right to Life Baby Shower in September, and donated
baby items. We should be proud of what we accomplished
for this worthy cause and to be part of this program.

Glory be to Jesus Christ!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
I reach out to all of you in this difficult period for Ukraine - the attack and admiration of Russian military on
Ukrainian sailors and warships in the Kerch Strait. Unfortunately, the enemy of Ukraine again tries to destroy the
aspiration of our people to build their own house according to their choice. The leader of Russian Federation can not
perceive the fact of existence and development of Ukraine as a country. They use different methods of combat, both
externally and internally, so that Ukrainians lose faith in their own ability to build a state based on Christian values and
democratic principals.
On the evening of November 26, 2018, the Ukrainian community in Chicago declared its position on criminal actions
of Russia. Ukrainians not only in the United States, but in other countries loudly condemned the actions of Moscow.
In this situation, Ukraine was supported by most of the world's leaders and countries.
In the Gospel, apostle Paul says, “Every man builds a house, but the one who builds everything else is God" (Gospel,
3.4). Ukrainians are building Ukraine, they are building their house, and we ask God for him to bless us in building our
house and country. We want to build a good base, we are aware that the enemy wants to break out walls and dig up the
foundations, however, God stands in from of all of this, and people believe in him and his power. In the structure it is
very important to have not only a good contractor, but quality material - and in this case people are its stones, and the
solution should be our prayer.
I call out to all the faithful of St. Nicholas Diocese and to all the people of good will for strength and prayer for peace
in Ukraine and for the war to end. I remember that the Bishops of our Eparchy offered the faithful to pray every night at
9:00p.m. A proposed prayer (on pg.2) for peace in Ukraine in time of war, which can be repeated every evening. In the
mean being time. I give permission to all Fathers to read the prayer at every Divine Liturgy after fierce prayer until the
end of 2018.
Pray in churches and at homes, in families, in communities, and even alone. Let us create a prayer and sift about
it in our friends and families and let God have mercy on us, by prayer of the Blessed Virgin Mary and All the Saints.
The blessing of the Lord be upon you!

Дорогі Брати та Сестри у Хрисгі.
Звертаюсь до Вас усіх у цей непростий для України період - напад та захоплення російськими військовими
українських моряків та військових кораблів у Керченській протоці. Nа жаль, ворог України знову підступним
способом намагається руйнувати прагнення нашого народу будувати власний дім згідно свого вибору.
Керманичі Російської Федерації ніяк не можуть сприйняти факт існування та розвитку Української Держави.
Вони використовують різні методи боротьби, як зовнішні, так і внутрішні, щоб українці втратили віру у власну
здатність будувати державу на основі християнських цінностей та демократичних принципів.
У вечері 26 листопада ц. р. українська громадськість Чикаго в центрі міста заявила свою позицію щодо
злочинних дій РФ. Українці не лише СШA, але й інших країн світу голосно засудили дії Москви. У цій ситуації
Україну підтримали більшість світових лідерів та країн.
У посланні до євреїв апостол Павло каже: "Усякий бо дім хтось будує, а Той, хто все збудував. -- то
Бог" (+вр. 3.4). Українці будують Україну, свій дім, і ми просимо Всевладику і Творця усього благословити нам
побудову нашого дому. Ми хочемо будувати на добрій основі, ми свідомі, qо ворог бажає зламати наші стіни та
підкопати наші підвалини, однак, стоячи перед обличчям Господа, просимо в Нього бути будівничим нашого
народу та держави. У будові важливо окрім доброго майстра мати якісний матеріал - цим камінням є люди, а
розчином — має стати наша молитва.
Закликаю вірних єпархії св. Миколая та всіх людей доброї волі до посиленої молитви за мир в Україні та
завершення війни. Пригадую, що єпископи нашої Церкви запропонували вірним молитись в цьому паміренні
кожного дня о 9:00 вечора. Пропоную текст молитви (нa st. 2) за мир в Україні в часі війни, яку можемо
молитись що вечора. В особливий спосіб, поручаю отцям-душнастирям читати цю молитву на кожній
Божественній Літургії після заамвонної молитви до кінця 2018 року.
Молімось у церквах і в домівках, в родинах, спільнотах і поодиноко, творімо молитву та просімо про неї
у наших знаjомих та друзів, і хай Господь помилує нас, за молитвати Пречистої Діви Марії і всіх святих.
