The course is designed and presented by the PHMSA Oce of Training and Qualifications, in conjunction with the Gas Pipeline Safety Section, Energy Division of the Alabama Public Service Commission. The Purpose of the Pipeline Safety Program is to provide for the safe and ecient operation of natural gas and hazardous liquid systems throughout the State of Alabama for the ratepayers and the general public. This is accomplished through attendance at this seminar and other training opportunities for the operating personnel in gas distribution, transmission, master meter and hazardous liquid pipeline systems. Lodging and Transportation The Embassy Suites Hotel has oered a special room rate of $128.00 per day plus tax, internet, and parking during the seminar.
