ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO THE TENDER FOR SUPPLY, DESIGN & INSTALLATION OF

KAINUK 220/66/11kV SUBSTATION & ASSOCIATED 220kV LINE- KP1/6BA/PROJ/PT/29/12

The following amendments are made to the specified provisions of the Tender documents for Supply,

Design and Installation of Kainuk 220/66kV substation & associated 220kV line.

1. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PRINCIPAL TENDER DOCUMENT

Save where expressly amended by the terms of this Addendum, the Principal Tender Document shall

continue to be in full force and effect.

The provisions of this Addendum shall be deemed to have been incorporated in and shall be read as

part of the Principal Tender Document.

2. RESPONSES TO CLARIFICATION

Please refer to the attached Appendix 1 for responses to Bidders requests for clarifications.

3. AMENDMENT TO TECHNICAL SCHEDULES

Refer to Appendix 2 for amendment to Technical schedules in Volume 2, Section 4 in respect to

details of 500kVA auxiliary transformer.

4. MINUTES OF PRE-BID CONFERENCE ON 24TH

OCTOBER 2012

Refer to Appendix 3 containing minutes of pre-bid conference held on 24th October 2012 at Stima

plaza auditorium.

5. AMENDMENT TO DRAWINGS IN APPENDIX B VOLUME 1 OF BID DOCUMENT

Correction of single line drawing Sk.No.11081 ,One Line drawing of MV/EHV system and general

equipment layout at existing Turkwel.

Google Map showing approximate location of the plot at Turkwel power station is available on the

website.

All the other terms and conditions remain as per the Tender document.

Minutes

Min.1: Bidders advised that cancellation of earlier tender was occasioned by change of

substation site to plot within the Kengen compound at Turkwel.

Min.2: Bidders informed that the site visit will be conducted by themselves i.e. without

presence of KPLC engineers between dates of 25th

and 26th

October 2012.

The Chief engineer of Turkwel power station will be apprised of the Bidders visit.

Min3: Project manager ruled out possibility of extension of tender closing date.
