The International Moscow Automotive Forum (IMAF) was held for the 9th time this year.Over 280 experts representing motor industry companies partook in the Forum
The plenary session saw the presentations provided by representatives of state agencies and top managers of car making companies including AvtoVAZ, BMW Group Rus, Peugeot Citroën Rus, Volvo Vostok, Nissan Manufacturing RUS, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus, as well as representatives of such companies as Autostat, DLA Piper and KPMG in Russia and the CIS. The topics included automotive industry technology development trends, investment strategy and supplier development strategy, tax issues of Industrial Assembly Agreement implementation and Special Investment Contracts. The second day of the Forum dealt with the topic of Localising Production, which was considered from 2 different viewpoints: that of purchasers and that of suppliers. The discussion saw the participation of representatives of such companies as KPMG in Russia and the CIS; AVTOVAZ RENAULT NISSAN PURCHASING ORGANISATION; Avtotor Holding; Isuzu Rus; Gestamp Severstal Vsevolozhsk; Faurecia Russia; United Company RUSAL; the Special economic zone of industrial-production type Togliatti and the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation.
The IMAF 2018 was sponsored by the Russian Export Centre, the Forum’s partners included: DLA Piper, KPMG, Dassault Systemes, United Company RUSAL, Renaissance, and Auto.ru.
