Benefits in K-B Integration
• Uploading XML’s directly to State Data Centre instead of routing it from District Registrar office’s
• Accessing owner details from BHOOMI database before registering the document. This will ensure correct owner details, reduce data entry work and ensure further mutation without any mismatch.
• Mapping KAVERI master data to BHOOMI master data before registering the document; this enhancement will lead to a tightly coupled system.
• Transmission of Photo and Thumb impressions to BHOOMI System will facilitate verification of Owners at BHOOMI kiosk

Other IT Projects of KAVERI
• Encumbrance Certificates are being issued through KAVERI since 2004.
• EC digitization RFP in respect of 9,77,868 manuscript documents from 1995-96 to 2003-04 of all the 42 SR offices in Bangalore Urban District is pending in Government for clearance. (Letter no.Comp/21/02-03 on 25-7-2009)
• EC Software is developed by M/s C-DAC Pune.
• The project will be implemented soon after Government’s approval.
• Digitization of EC data in respect of remaining offices will be taken up soon after.

Scanning & Microfilming of legacy records
• Scanning & Microfilming project in respect of legacy records will be taken up to enable speedy issuance of EC & CC .
• 75,36,704 pages of manual records of Society & Firms in the state have been scanned, indexed and stored in CD’s & Hard Disks during the year 2008.
• Scanning & microfilming of 10,237 volumes containing 24 lakhs pages of records since 1966 in respect of SRO Gandhinagar & Yelahanka is proposed to be implemented through Dept of Archives.

E - STAMPING
• E-stamping is a system of sale of stamp paper through ACC’s, accessing the web server of SHCIL through internet.
• It is being implemented through Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd. (SHCIL)
• As on today there are more than 600 ACC,s in Karnataka
• In Bangalore there are 134 ACC,s

Encumbrance certificates are issued immediately. • Discretion of the Registering officers in
determination of the market value of the property is eliminated.
• Loss of revenue due to miscalculation of the stamp duty and registration fee is eliminated.
• Errors in copying of the document into registers are completely eliminated. • Search of the Index for EC is made faster and
mistake free.
