K-2 “Infants” Frolic

One of the great traditions of Parkes East is our “Infants Frolic” which is being held tomorrow evening. A fabulous family event that has been running for many decades, the Frolic is always a great deal of fun. Unfortunately a prior commitment means that I will be unable to attend.

KINDERGARTEN 2020 If you have a child commencing school in 2020 we would appreciate you coming in and completing the paper work as soon as possible, as well as signing up for the transition playgroup, as places are filling up fast.

APPLICATION FOR ENROLMENT IN YEAR 7 2020 AT PARKES HIGH SCHOOL

Enrolment forms have been given to current Year 6 students.

Please complete and return to Parkes East Public School as soon as possible.

CANTEEN Pizzas are no longer available at the canteen, as they do not comply with the Healthy Canteen Strategy. Instead the canteen will have Pizza Roundas available for $3.00.

STAGE 2 EXCURSION Last week Year 3 and Year 4 students went to Bathurst to visit the Bathurst Goldfields and the Bathurst Fossil and Mineral Museum. All students had an enjoyable time panning for gold, cooking damper and singing around the campfire.

STAGE 1 EXCURSION Last Wednesday, Year 1 and Year 2 students visited the Parkes Radio Telescope. Students enjoyed watching the 3D movie and participating in the AstroKids Scavenger Hunt.
