DATA:The key revenue growthdriver in Eastern EuropeToday mobile broadband subscriptions in Eastern Europe account for 24% oftotal subscriptions which indicates that there is a sufficient room for growth. The state of mobile broadband development varies with some markets stilldeploying 3G networks, while others making first steps in LTE rollout. Spectrumavailability remains one of the key challenges in mobile broadband rollout.

LTE net additions in Eastern Europe continue to be relatively low, compared toWestern Europe. While in Western Europe LTE subscriptions grew almost sixfoldwithin a year, reaching more than 6.6 million in 3Q13, in Eastern Europe LTEsubscriptions increased two and a half times to 1.5 million.

Despite the certain challenges, the demand for data services grows and asdevices, especially smartphones become more affordable and mobile broadbandcoverage in Eastern Europe expands data revenues will continue to increase.Informa estimates that data revenues will reach USD 31.3 million by 2018.
