FOREWORD
We welcome you to our second production sale of the Alpine Swiss Valais
Blacknose flock. After a very successful year with the Valais breed including
a large export of semen & embryos to New Zealand & Growing interest from
other countries around the World not forgetting the phenomenal passion for
the breed across the UK the excitement continues. We have again offered our
finest for your appraisal including 5 top ET lambs right from the top draw of
the flock. The great donor ewe Zara will again be forward having sold in our
2016 sale to a group in New Zealand to lead their flush program, also Abigail
& Nancy two of the best Valais ewes we have seen. The rams on offer are a
handpicked group that where a part of our semen collection project for export
and now we offer them for sale.
Anyone whom is unable to attend the sale and are interested in purchasing
please contact Wright Marshall, Richard or Steve and your interest will be
handled accordingly. Also, any purchaser needing transport to any part of the
UK please contact Steve or Richard and we will help to make
necessary arrangements.
FIRST TIME SHEEP BUYERS
If you are interested in purchasing from our sale and have not established a
CPH number or you need a little time to prepare your paddock/ barn then we
at Alpine Valais Blacknose will be happy to take your purchases back to the
farm and take care of them until you are able to take delivery.
If you do require this service we ask that you discuss it with ourselves or the
auctioneer before the sale starts to make arrangements should you be
successful in your bidding. You will need to pay for the animals in full at
conclusion of the sale should you be lucky enough to purchase one of these
fine creatures. Also note that should you require this service the animals will
be solely your responsibility from the fall of the hammer.
We are committed to helping anyone with their stock whether it be one as a
pet or developing a flock; we will assist in advice on a breeding program by
helping setup AI & Embryo programs also advice on feeding, veterinary work
and arranging shearing of your new-found friends.
