KOYEMBEDU STSTION – ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF LONG SPAN ROOF STRUCTURE
STRUCTURAL CONFIGURATION:
The Koyembedu elevated roof consists of
main frame with space frame and the
connection rafter beam as lattice beam. The
span of the roof was 27.0m over a length of
143m with a bay width of 17.5m. Type of
roof shape adopted for the structure was
circular type in cross section, with semi-
circular and elliptical two-tier system in
plan.
