KOYEMBEDU STSTION – ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF LONG SPAN ROOF STRUCTURE

STRUCTURAL CONFIGURATION:

The Koyembedu elevated roof consists of

main frame with space frame and the

connection rafter beam as lattice beam. The

span of the roof was 27.0m over a length of

143m with a bay width of 17.5m. Type of

roof shape adopted for the structure was

circular type in cross section, with semi-

circular and elliptical two-tier system in

plan.

AMEERPET STATION- ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF ROOF STRUCTURE

STRUCTURAL

CONFIGURATION:

1) Width of the roof -Lower roof = 22 m,

Upper roof = 22 m, Upper roof = 33 m

2) Length = 150, column spacing in

longitudinal direction = 9.0, c/c distance in

transverse direction=13.09/ 22 m,

Type of the roof structure=double slope
