  • CITY MANTRA

Barcelona is orienting its city evolution strategy toward guaranteeing quality of life for its citizenry, social and urban improvement and added value in its neighborhoods. The city is fostering all its urban potential within the framework of a sustainable development and a green economy in favour of an energetically self-sufficient city where nature holds a prominent role for its balance. A connected city with a high-speed interconnected Metropolitan Area, that guarantees the regions evolution and the improvement of its inner cities.

Working towards the transformation of Barcelona into a city of self-sufficient, human-scale and productive neighborhoods, within an eco-efficient, re-naturalized, hyperconnected and zero emissions Metropolitan Area
