Instructions For Use For use in conjunction with 3 Line Label Gun V3504060
3 Line Duplex Label & Gun
1. Use the 3 Line Duplex labels for steam and formaldehyde to create a direct link between the process and the patient.
2. Insert Labels into 3 Line Label Gun (Please refer to Gun instructions for use).
3. Move individual dials on the Gun to ensure correct data is demonstrated – Gun can record: process date, expiry date, operator number, sterilizer number and cycle number.
4. Use gun to apply label to pack/container/tray which will also print
above information directly onto the Duplex Label.5. Place pack in sterilizer and reprocess your items as per your
usual procedures. Please note, this product is lead free and non-hazardous according to EC Regulation 1907/2006.
6. After sterilization indicator for steam will change from pink to brown / indicator for formaldehyde will change from pink to green.
7. The label can then be peeled off and reapplied to either patient or departmental records as evidence of an effective process.
1. Fitting roller with stickers - Open top cover by pulling bottom cover with tape feeding mechanism, then unreel around 15cm of tape and transfer through hole. Insert roller with tape, close top and bottom cover.
2. Tape fitting - Remove all stickers from outstanding tape and put the end of the tape through gap below metal roller. Press handle until the printed sticker will appear.
3. Printout setting - Pull out knob in alphanumeric row then set marker in position allowing for change of character. Set the character on the rubber tape according to table on top cover by rotating towards direction indicated by arrow. Chosen character has to correspond with character to print.
After setting, push roller into working position. Repeat all actions for the rest of characters.
4. Replacement of dyeing roller - Open front cover of device. Remove used roller with dedicated tool which came with device. Use the same tool to put in new roller.
5. Brake tensioning - Press handle so the screwdriver could fit between printing head and top cover. To increase brake tension turn screw in clockwise direction, to decrease it turn screw in opposite direction.
6. Fitting and setting of stamp - Open bottom cover, remove or insert new stamp (for example with company name). Place for stamp is located under bottom printing row.
CHANGING INK ROLLERTo replace the ink roller, squeeze together the two catches at the top of the ink roller holder assembly and pull forward. Then press together the grips at either side near the ink roller to remove the old unit.Slide in new cassette and click into position.
