NodeB Overview The 3900 series base stations are classified into macro
base stations and distributed base stations. These
base stations are used in different scenarios to meet
operators' requirement for fast network deployment
with low cost

BBU 3900 Appearance
The BBU3900 has a case structure. It can be
installed in a 19-inch-wide and 2 U-high indoor space

Before commissioning, you need to ensure that the
required tools are available, obtain the information
about the base station to be commissioned, and
download the correct software for boards used in the
base station

Commissioning Prerequisites Hardware Requirements
The NodeB hardware is installed and the cables are connected
The NodeB has passed the hardware installation check before it is powered on
The NodeB is powered on, and the boards operate normally as indicated by the LEDs on the boards
The NodeB is installed. The system commissioning is completed, and the system is operating properly
Software Requirements The data of NodeB is configured on the RNC

Remote Commissioning Modes
Local LMT Commissioning The upgrade of the NodeB software and configuration data
can be implemented on the LMT on the site. Then, you can check the status and handle the alarms through LMT
Local USB Disk + M2000 Commissioning On the site, you can upgrade the software and data
configuration through the USB storage device, check the hardware status based on the LED status, and then check the VSWR of the antenna. After transmission is available, you can perform fault diagnosis and service verification for the NodeB through the M2000

Local USB + M2000 Commissioning Prerequisites
The hardware, such as cabinets, cables, antenna system, and auxiliary devices, is installed and passes the installation check. The NodeB passes a power-on status check and is powered on
The hardware of the RNC is installed and commissioned, and the system works properly. The negotiation data of NodeB to be commissioned is configured and recorded
