About the Seminar

Gujarat is one of the fastest growing states in India in terms of business and investment. Vadodara is set to

become an innovative hub for manufacturing by leveraging its economic strength. Vadodara's economy is driven

by the chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industries. Welding is a critical technique

for joining of materials in most manufacturing & process industries. New materials are being developed with

increased strength, corrosion resistance & other performance factors. In this competitive global industrial

scenario, product designers always look out for these new materials without compromising on expected final

performance. Once concluded by designers, it becomes a daunting task to device a welding procedure with

subsequent inspection and testing aspects to ensure a satisfactory outcome with respect to various properties.

The meet intends to cover related topics which can be as follows:

Advancement/Innovation/automation in existing technology

Metallurgical & welding aspects of various advanced metals

Key Design aspects and performance factors

Economics of Welding, Safety, QA & Failure Analysis

Repair, Reclamation, Maintenance, Surfacing & Weld Overlay

Welding Processes, Equipments & Technological Innovation
