3 x 3 Album

Supplies:
3"x3" mini album
3.5"x12" piece of B&T paper
1.25"x3.5" piece of B&T paper (optional; to cover spine)
One 9"xI2" cardstock, cut into twelve 3"x3" page basesTwo 3"xI2" strips of B&T Duos (two patterns or colors), cut into eight 3"x3" decorative squares
12" My Stickease border strip or 24" ribbon, jute, or hemp; 12" Sassy Strands
At least 6 different My Stickease decorative elements or stamped, cut out imagesMy Accents, brads, buttons, and/or stapler w/staples
Directions:
Cover:
1. Cut the 3.5"xI2" B&T paper and cut it into two 3.5" squares. Adhere one to the front and the
other to the back of the mini album.
2a. Cover the spine with the optional1.25"x3.5" piece. Cut two 3.5" strips of the My Stickeaseborder piece. Cover the front and back seams with them. OR
2b. Cut the My Stickease border at 3.5". Adhere this piece to the spine. OR
2c. Wrap ribbon, jute, or hemp around the front & back covers to hide the seams. Tie the front
into a knot or bow.
3. Add a decorative My Stickease accent to the cover. Leave room for a title, if desired.

Pages:
Take the first of the four decorative 3"x3" squares (pattern A) and cut as follows:
0.5"x3", 0.5"x3", & 2"x3". (Save the second 0.5"x3" piece for page 5.)
1. Adhere one 0.5"x3" strip across the top of a 3" base, approximately 0.25"-0.5" from the top.
Use staples or brads at each end of the strip for added embellishment. (This page cannot be used
front/back with those embellishments on it.)
2. Center the 2"x3" strip vertically on a 3" base. Take the second decorative 3"x3" square(pattern B). Cut into three 1"x3" strips.

3. Tear one long edge of a 1" strip. Wrap Sassy Strands or wire around this piece if desired.
Adhere as a Sidebar flush along the left or right edge.
4. Adhere the 0.5"x3" strip from piece A centered on top of a 1"x3" strip. If desired, wrap Sassy
Strands vertically down the center. Adhere to the right side, 0.25"-0.5" from the outside edge.
5. Cut the second 1" strip into three 1" squares. Cut two squares along the diagonal to make four
triangles. Adhere each triangle to a comer of the 3" base page.
6. Take the final 1" square, cut it in half, then each of those rectangles in half again to create four0.5" squares. Space three or four of these evenly along the right side to create a border.
(Embellish with sequins or seed beads for extra pizzaz.)

Take the third decorative 3"x3" square (pattern B). Cut it in half to make two 1.5"x3" pieces. Cutone of those pieces into
two 1.5" squares.
7. Adhere the 1.5"x3"piece to the left or right half of a 3" base.
8. Adhere the two 1.5" squares to the 3" base, one at the top left and the other at the bottom rightto create a "checkerboard" effect.

Cut the fourth decorative 3"x3" square (pattern A) in half to create two 1.5"x3"pieces. Cut one of
these pieces in half to make two 0.75"x3" strips.
9. Adhere the 1.5"x3" piece along the bottom of the 3" base. If you only glue the left, bottom,and right edges, you can create a pocket page. Attach brads to the top comers of the pocket, if
desired.
10. Tear both long edges of both 0.75"x3" strips. Adhere the strips to the 3" base, oneapproximately 0.25"-0.5" from the bottom and the other, approximately 0.25"-0.5" from the left
side. Attach a brad or button where they overlap, if desired.

Use the 3.5"x5" piece of B&T leftover from decorating the cover. First, cut off a 0.5"x5" strip.
(Discard or use for other embellishments.) Cut the remaining 3"x5" piece into a 3" square and a2"x3" piece.
11. Cut the 3" square in half diagonally. Adhere this piece to the bottom right comer of a 3" base.
(This could be a diagonal pocket if you only glue the bottom & side to the base.)
12. Take the other triangle and cut approximately 1" off of the long edge to make a smallertriangle. (Discard the cut off strip or use for other embellishments.) Adhere this triangle to the
top right comer of a 3" base.
13. Cut the 2"x3" piece to make a 2" square. Center this square onto a 3" base.

Finally, decorate the remaining B&T pages.
14. Attach a 3" My Stickease border (from the piece used on the cover) across the bottom, side,
or top of a page.
15. Leave a page plain or attach three brads in a vertical line starting at the top right comer.
16. Fold down the top right comer of a B&T Duo so that the back of the page behind it shows.Embellish the fold with a button, brad, or knot of ribbon or jute.

You may want to rearrange the order of your pages to create a pleasing mini scrapbook.
Finish off your pages with My Stickease embellishments, your favorite photos, and journaling.
