That’s where Marram Healthcare comes in.

We help you with all those niggling healthcare expenses, like seeing your GP, going to the physio or replacing your prescription lenses.

Marram isn’t like health insurance though – there’s no excess to pay and we won’t refuse you if you already have a health condition.

You simply send us your receipts and request reimbursement of at least 60% of the cost of most treatments. There’s no lengthy stand-down period either. You can start receiving reimbursements just three months after you sign up.

Oh, and we include your partner and children too, at no cost.

MARRAM’S SUPPORTIVE SPIRIT

MARRAM HOLIDAY HOMES ARE ABOUT AS AFFORDABLE AS IT GETS. THAT’S BECAUSE WE’VE OWNED, MAINTAINED

AND CARED FOR HOMES FOR MORE THAN 70 YEARS. In fact, the Trust began as a way to provide holiday homes and accommodation to Post Office employees who needed to convalesce and re-establish their lives in New Zealand following World War II.

The Trust purchased these first homes using government funding but it soon became self-sustaining through the voluntary contributions of Post Office employees.

By the mid-1950s, the Trust had expanded considerably, offering 42 homes from the Bay of Islands to Riverton Rocks. By the mid-1960s, it had expanded its charitable programme to help working families with their healthcare expenses.

Sweeping changes came in 1987 when the Post Office split into what we now know as ANZ Bank, NZ Post and Spark. Yet the Trust endured, again expanding to support these new organisations, their employees and their employees’ families.

Today, the Marram Community Trust still retains its original charitable objectives. We believe family holidays are an essential, not a luxury. And that access to medical care shouldn’t depend on the size of your wallet.

The wellbeing of employees and their families continues to be our top priority and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
