1. ALLERGY ALERT TEST Perform an allergy alert test 48 hours before
each product use even if you have already used coloring products before. Perform the allergy alert test on an area of skin sized approximate-ly 0.5 in × 0.5 in on the inside of the elbow. Apply a small amount of the Color Cream in a thin layer on the inside of the elbow with a cotton swab and leave uncovered for 45 min-utes. Avoid contact with clothes. Close tube again carefully. After 45 minutes, wash off the Color Cream thoroughly with lukewarm water. If any reaction occurs during the processing time or during the following 48 hours, you should rinse immediately and not use this colorant.
This test represents an important precaution. However, be aware that even if an allergy alert test has been carried out you may still experi-ence an allergic reaction when you color your hair. The allergy alert test is not a guarantee of avoiding future allergic reactions. Please con-sult a doctor if you have any doubts.

• Please do not wash your hair prior to application.
• Start with the application immediately after mixing.
• Discard any unused mixture promptly – it cannot be stored for another application.
• Resealing may cause the container to burst.• If your hair is longer than chin length, we rec
ommend using 2 packs of Schwarzkopf Color Ultîme for the FULL HEAD APPLICATION.
• If your hair is already colored, follow the ROOT APPLICATION procedure.
• Avoid product coming into contact with clothing, jewellery, metal, plastic or ab-sorbent surfaces as the stains occurring can normally not be removed. Remove spillages immediately with water.
• We recommend repeating the application every 4 weeks, as hair grows approximately 0.5 in per month.

1. PREPARATIONBefore starting the application, place a clothing protection and a watch nearby so that you can monitor the application time.This product contains:

2. MIXINGPut on the clothing protection and the gloves supplied.Unscrew the application tip from the Application Bottle. Open the Color Cream tube by piercing the tube sealing with the reverse side of the cap. Squeeze the whole content of the tube into the Application Bottle.

Screw the bottle as firm as possible. Shake it vig-orously until all components are thoroughly mixed and turned into a smooth cream.Finally, unscrew the upper cap and start with the application im me diately.

3. APPLICATIONApply the coloration mixture directly from the Application Bottle on dry, not pre-washed hair.
3.a FULL-HEAD APPLICATIONThis application is recommended if:• you are coloring your hair permanently for the
first time, or• your previous hair color has totally grown out,
i.e. no regrowth can be seen.Apply the coloration mixture strand after strand on the whole hair and massage it in thoroughly to ensure all hair is evenly covered.Allow the hair color mixture to work for 30 minutes.

Apply about ⅔ of the coloration mixture only on the regrowth area. For this, make a parting with the top
of the Application Bottle and apply the mixture along the parting by massaging it into the roots with your fingertips (leave supplied gloves on). Repeat this procedure for the whole regrowth area. Ensure all regrowth is evenly covered.Allow the coloration mixture to work for 20–25 minutes. Apply the rest of the mixture to the whole hair and allow it to work for a further 5–10 minutes.At the end of the processing time, apply warm water to the hair and work into lather. Then rinse out thoroughly until water runs clear. Finally shampoo your hair and rinse out thoroughly.
4. AFTER-TREATMENTAs a subsequent care, massage the Intense Care Elixir into the towel dry hair. Allow to work for 2 minutes
and then rinse out thoroughly to leave your hair noticeably softer and with beautiful shine.The Intense Care Elixir is sufficient for 3–4 applications, depending on the length of your hair.
