Dr.Sabarinathan C has 13 years of comprehensive teaching experience in different organizations. He

completed U.G(Mechanical Engineering) at the University of Bharathiyar in 2002. He completed his master's

degree in CAD / CAM at Sathayabama Deemed University in 2004. In 2014, at Anna University, Chennai, he

completed his doctorate in Polymer Nano composites.

He is also one of the active board members of the Daimler India (Mercedes Benz) Truck Division Composites

Division. He delivered numerous important lectures in his own specialty on various premises. He has also

received grants for research projects and conferences from various government departments and non-

government organizations.

He is currently a member of the Manipal Global Automotive, Mechanical, Aeronautical and Chemical

Engineering University's Board of Research.

He is act as an Associate Member of Engineering Institutions in India (AMIE). He has published 20 articles

and 30 papers for conferences as well. He also guides 7 research scholars at Anna University, Chennai.

Introduction about Interior architecture as a term has come into use due to the increasing scope and

responsibilities of interior designers – largely thanks to improvements in design technology (CAD) and

interior design education.

techniques. he always involved in research area to create innovative materials. he explained importance

of continuous learning needed to expand their knowledge while new methods develop and how they

should be fully committed and enhance their skills through experience.

He explained the software is mainly focused on , how to draw the plan, section and elevation which

helps to software like AutoCAD. The AutoCAD software is used to draw the two dimensional (2D)

drawings and three dimensional drawings (3D). The two dimensional is used to only draw the line

sketches and the three dimensional is used to draw the elevation purpose.

In this software there are so many commands like line, offset, trim, erase, linear, aligned etc. and in

this software we have to start set the limits after that we have to change the units (millimeter, metre, feet

and inches). And the afternoon session the students are practically to draw the plan and section.

The Rathinam technical Campus has set up an IPR Cell that has taken the task of creating awareness

about Intellectual Property Rights amongst faculty and students of the University with support from

Ministry of Human Resource Development in the form of the IPR Chair. India has become a member of

the global patent regime but awareness and expertise on the subject of Intellectual property Rights (IPR)

in the academic institutions is still inadequate. To apply for registration of IP, the university scientists

and students are required to observe confidentiality in relation to such information though as a university

the purpose is to disseminate of information and the building of the research base. Maintenance of a

proper balance and fine tuning of academic excellence with academic integrity and protection and

exploitation of intellectual property rights is becoming very important for the universities.

bridging the gap from research to innovation. She explained the relation between inventions and

financial support for this endeavor.

role that intellectual property plays in fostering a creative and innovative culture, to encourage

awareness in universities and colleges particularly among students and scholars and establish a link
