Fall Can Drive
We will have our Fall Can Drive from November 6–12 from 7:30AM–8:30 AM . Although
there are no national or state competitions, we still believe in the importance of recycling
here at SHS . RECYCLE ALUMINUM (cans and scrap aluminum ) during the can drive
November 6–12 in the gym parking lot . When you drop off your recycled aluminum, give the
name of an SHS student , because there is a hot chocolate & cookies competition between
the classrooms . We are in need of volunteers to help with the Can Drive . If you can help any
day please contact the school office at 853-4388 .

Priesthood Sunday Appeal
November 8 , 2020
A day to reflect upon the role
and vocation of the priesthood
in the life of the Church .
" Your gift today supportsthe continued education
and formation of our
seminarians. Please
prayerfully consider a
generous gift to ensure we
form strong leaders for the
future of our diocese ."
-Most Reverend J. Mark Spalding,
Bishop of Nashwille

If the police were called to your home as the result of a crime or for any reason and you
had children in your home , those children might be afraid . Sacred Heart Church has been
asked to partner with the other churches in our community to provide goodie bags for the
police to give to children when this happens . We have been asked to fill 15 bags for junior
high age girls (age 12-14 ) . We have been provided with bags and a list of suggested items
for the bag . The total to be spent should be around $20 per bag . If you can , please take a
bag and fill it from the list or put $ 20 in the bag and we will fill it for you . These need to be
returned to the church office no later than Sunday, November 22nd . Bags are located in
the breezeway at Sacred Heart . Please sign your name if you take a bag.
