• 500 students in high school• Inter‐Ac conference• High academic standards• About 50 players on roster (9th‐12th grade)• Every player on current roster plays multiple sports

Why3‐4?• Ability to play with 3 Defensive Lineman

• Ability to play with undersize DL• Balance look – no bubbles for run game checks at the LOS

• We do align in a shade and even front as well• Allows us to get our best athletes on the field• Allows us to adjust to offensive sets

• We can easily shift the front from side to side

Whycover3?• Eyes on QB

• All players will see run/read game• Easiest coverage for corners to play

• Tough to find corners • 8 in the box

• Top priority is to stop the run• Easy to disguise• Limits the opponents big plays• Allows us to adjust to offensive sets
