¡Hermanas y hermanos feligreses de nuestra Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, un saludo para
todos ustedes en Cristo resucitado!
Desde el final 2019 y debuto 2020, debido a la opresión de la pandemia del coronavirus, se suspende
todas las actividades del mundo, imponiendo nuevas maneras de hacer las cosas. Sabemos que para noso-
tros los cristianos católicos, lo más difícil durante este tiempo, es el vacío en las Iglesias, la suspensión de
las reuniones pastorales y el cambio en nuestra manera de celebrar la fe. Sabemos que esos cambios a tra-
vés de nuestra Iglesia, causan tristeza y soledad. Por eso, queremos invitarlos a confiar más en las promesas
de Jesús, quien nos dice: Yo estaré con ustedes todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo (Mt 28, 16-20). Las
fiestas pascuales que celebramos, son una invitación a poner nuestra esperanza en Él y tomar fuerza en su
resurrección para seguir adelante.
Recuerden que, en este cuarto domingo de Pascua la liturgia nos invita a reconocer la voz de Jesús
como Nuestro Buen Pastor. El mundo está cambiando, pero el Buen Pastor no Cambia; Él nos sigue amando
y nos llama a cada una de las ovejas por nuestro nombre. Pedimos todos los días por ustedes para que du-
rante este tiempo de pandemia ninguna voz diferente a la de Él nos distraiga, y que sigamos escuchando su
voz a través de la fe, la oración, la meditación y las enseñanzas de la Madre Iglesia. Sigamos orando por to-
dos los pastores de nuestra Iglesia comenzando desde el Papa hasta los padres de familia, para que a ejem-
plo de Cristo seamos más pastores siendo para las ovejas testimonios vivos de fe, esperanza y caridad en
este tiempo de pandemia.

Brothers and sisters, Parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Greetings to all of you in the risen
Christ! Since the end of 2019 and debuting in 2020, due to the era of the coronavirus pandemic, a majority of
activities in our communities have been suspended, imposing unconventional ways of living a modified life.
We know that for us Catholic Christians, the most difficult thing during this time is the emptiness in our
Churches, the suspension of the pastoral meetings and change in the way we celebrate faith.
We know that these changes through our Church cause sadness and loneliness. For this reason, we want
to invite you to trust more in the promises of Jesus, who say to us: I will be with you every day, until the end
of the world (Mt 28, 16-20). The Easter feasts that we celebrate are an invitation to put our hope in Him and to
gather strength in His resurrection to move forward. Remember that on this fourth Sunday of Easter, the litur-
gy invites us to recognize the voice of Jesus as our Good Shepherd. The world is changing, but the Good
Shepherd does not change; he continues to love us and calls each of the sheep by our name.
We pray for you every day so that during this time of pandemic, no voice other than His will encourage us
as we continue to listen to His voice through faith, prayer, meditation and the teachings of Mother Church. Let
us continue to pray for all the pastors of our Church, starting from the Pope to the parents, so that in the ex-
ample of Christ, we become more pastor, being for the sheep living testimonies of faith, hope and charity in
this time of pandemic. Happy Easter to all of you and may the blessing of the Good Shepherd always be with

Fourth Sunday of Easter May 03, 2020
Queridos hermanos en Cristo y María, nos encontramos en el cuarto domingo de Pascua y este es el domingo del Buen Pastor. Cristo se autodefine como Buen Pastor que da la vida por sus ovejas, para que éstas tengan vida y vida en abundancia. Hoy la en Iglesia recemos por los sacerdotes, pero hoy más que nunca, es urgente orar al Buen Pastor por las vocaciones, por las que hay y para que surjan vocaciones del seno de nuestras familias. Con el gozo de sabernos acompañados por Jesús, nos ponemos de pie para empezar nues-tra celebración.
Primera lectura (Hechos 2, 14.36-41) El apóstol Pedro pregona que Dios constituyó a Jesús: Señor y Mesías. Reconocer a Jesús, muerto y resucitado, como Señor y Mesías, lleva a la conversión de fe en Él y al bautismo en su nombre.
Segunda lectura (I de Pedro 2, 20b-25) En su primera carta, san Pedro nos recuerda que hemos sido salvados por Cristo Jesús “por sus llagas hemos sido curados”. Pero se vale de la figura del Buen Pastor: “andaban descarriados como ovejas, pero ahora han vuelto al pastor y guardián de sus ovejas”. Caminemos tras sus hue-llas, aunque a veces, sean de sufrimiento y dolor. Escuchen hermanos.
Evangelio (Juan 10, 1-10) “Yo soy la puerta de las ovejas”. El texto de san Juan que a continuación escucharemos, denuncia a los pastores que no entran por la puerta del aprisco (corral), ladrones y falsos pastores y destaca que el buen pastor conoce y llama por su nombre a sus ovejas y va caminando delante de ellas. Cristo es la puerta por donde entramos a la salvación y a la vida. Pongan atención a este bello mensaje de hoy, pero antes entonemos el Aleluya. Catholic.net
Even though we have less experience with sheep and shepherds today in our socie-ty, we can still identify strongly with the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd and as the gate for the sheep. Psalm 23 remains a popular and favorite psalm for prayer. In the image of the Good Shepherd, we know ourselves to be protected and cared for by a loving God.
As your family gathers, ask what each person knows about sheep and shepherds. Recall that shepherds and sheep have a close relationship. Sheep will only follow their own shepherd; they recognize his voice and will not follow a stranger. The shepherd’s job is to protect his sheep. In some ways, the relationship between the shepherd and his sheep is like that of a parent and child. Read together this Sunday’s Gospel, John 10:1-10. Talk about how Jesus tells us that he is the gate for the sheep. The sheep enter the protection of the sheepfold through the gate. In Jesus we find protection and abundant life.
