    Do you know Hest Bank? Well, we LOVE it. It's leafy, dotted with large trees, gentle roads and fabulous houses. Its right by the canal too, where you can enjoy

    the afternoon feeding the ducks, and walking the dogs. It'll keep the children

    entertained too. There's an array of colourful canal boats and wildlife here.

    For a Sunday lunch without the washing up you've got the Hest Bank Hotel. You can even grab a cold drink on these hot long summer evenings. There's a primary

    school and for those with high school children or thinking about schooling, you've

    also got plenty of buses to Lancaster for schools like Ripley St Thomas and the

    Boys and Girls Grammar Schools.

    Hest Bank may be a village, yet the connectivity to Lancaster City Centre and

    Carnforth is so easy. The new addition of the link road to the motorway cuts

    commuting time down and has made Hest Bank even more amazing. For those

    special days out you'll be just 40 minutes to Windermere too.
