• 3 doubles with one dressing room
• Amazing corner plot - we love the enormous driveway • A sunny garden
• The perfect place to watch a family grow
• With a little flair for design you can even add your dream kitchen - it's ready and waiting
• There's not even a chain - how good is that
Leafy Hest Bank has some of the most beautiful, highly desirable homes we ever see. To our surprise we have come a across this diamond. It is
without a doubt one of the best homes around. Think large corner plot, beautiful red brick and features that have been preserved perfectly for a
family to really enjoy.
You'll love this home, and the best part is that while you could live here right now, you could also do this home up too. We love the flexibility and know you will too.
The plentiful driveway allows you to turn around your car easily, imagine the crunch of gravel under your tyres on a spring morning. There's
luscious green grass, a wide driveway and an array of Hest Bank's trademark tall trees. Keeping your car cool and making you feel so much more
Step into the sunny porch, and through into the hallway, where you'll find a carpet of warm grey, a traditional stained glass window and a bright and
sunny space leading the way to the living room. The living room is quite wonderful, it's large enough for all the family, and any welcomed visitors
too. Neutral tones continue, why not swap the gas fire for something a little more traditional and befitting of such a wonderful home? A regal centre
piece would look spectacular.
Interestingly there are double doors that slide open to reveal the dining room too. Keep them closed for privacy or open them to reveal a large
entertaining space. The dining room is vast with space for every extended family member for a Sunday roast. It would be amazing to drop the
window and add double doors opening onto the garden? How about bi-fold doors?
We love the size of all the rooms and we must tell you that the Breakfast Room is also a fantastic size. The original chimney breast still houses a
working Rayburn oven in crisp white. Could this be one of the things you retain? Or will you design the Kitchen of your dreams to fill this space? It
has such a homely quality about it, there's room for more units, and even space to dine here too. The best part of this room is the enviable amount of
things you could do. We love the existing Kitchen, but this could turn into your utility room, its modern design enabling you to use it as an
extension of your kitchen there's even a very large pantry too.

Through the doors you'll also find an amazing storage space, and a downstairs
WC. This home just keeps on going. We love this one.
Throughout the home you'll find all the original doors. On one side, they have been updated in the 70's when it was all the rage to clad the doors, and the other
side reveals the deep set panels. I'd love to peel off the cladding and reveal the
beauty underneath. This style choice was very popular in the decade, and the
hallway looks rather grand as it's reflected along the walls too. The owner was
very house proud here, through the years as the whole home has been very well maintained. Let's take a trip upstairs.
There's 3 doubles, (what every family needs) and the master is bright and light,
which we love. The two doubles to the rear are very spacious, and one of them
has a surprise...
....Step through the bedroom and through the door on the other side, it'll lead you
to another amazing room, could this be your dressing room, your gym, your office
space or even converted to your en-suite for the master? A nursery would be
fabulous if you have a new baby, or if this is your childs bedroom they’ll have their very own playroom, keeping the bedroom lovely and tidy!
We love the modern family bathroom here too. May favourite spot has to be the
sunny landing, with two windows the sun beams through the window and leaves
the carpet bathed in sunlight.
Outside, we've got a handy garage, and garden with grass and superb mature trees.
Think barbecues and football nets!
Do you know Hest Bank? Well, we LOVE it. It's leafy, dotted with large trees, gentle roads and fabulous houses. Its right by the canal too, where you can enjoy
the afternoon feeding the ducks, and walking the dogs. It'll keep the children
entertained too. There's an array of colourful canal boats and wildlife here.
For a Sunday lunch without the washing up you've got the Hest Bank Hotel. You can even grab a cold drink on these hot long summer evenings. There's a primary
school and for those with high school children or thinking about schooling, you've
also got plenty of buses to Lancaster for schools like Ripley St Thomas and the
Boys and Girls Grammar Schools.
Hest Bank may be a village, yet the connectivity to Lancaster City Centre and
Carnforth is so easy. The new addition of the link road to the motorway cuts
commuting time down and has made Hest Bank even more amazing. For those
special days out you'll be just 40 minutes to Windermere too.
We know you'll enjoy this one and we really can't wait to show this one off!
