My main construction detail is used to try and hide the floor to roof connections of the lattice. I wanted the roof lattice to be a continual element from the earth, so
that the visitors disillusioned in thinking that the building is in actual fact part of the surrounding context. There were a number of
reasons why i chose the timber lattice as my main structure. These varying from structural to
aesthetic qualities. But the network like organisation on the organisation on the
lattice was a follow on from my initial concept.
