The history of this manufacturing unit dates back to 1970's when this was one of the first units to start production of PVC/PU Leather Cloth in Northern India by the name of 'Leatherite'. The company was taken over in 1987 by 'Kumar Ashis Projects Limited' and rechristened 'MANISH VINYLS'. 

Many additions and updation were made in the machinery to bring the plant to the current standards. The company then started making PVC/PU Leather Cloth under the brand name 'KHAITAN'. World’s largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines measured by volume, producing more than 14 million internal combustion engines each year. Honda surpassed Nissan in 2001 to become the second-largest Japanese automobile manufacturer. As of August 2008, Honda surpassed Chrysler as the fourth largest automobile manufacturer in the United States. Honda is the sixth largest automobile manufacturer in the world.

Honda was the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to release a dedicated luxury brand, Acura in 1986. # General Motors India Ltd.General Motors Company, also known as GM, is a United States-based automaker with headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. GM manufactures cars and trucks in 34 countries, recently employed 244,500 people around the world, and sell and services vehicles in some 140 countries.[3] By sales, GM ranked as the largest US automaker and the world's second largest for 2008, [3] having the third highest 2008 global revenues among automakers on the Fortune Global 500.[4]

On June 1, 2009, General Motors filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, which were completed on July 10 of the same year, and it was thereafter reorganized once a new entity acquired the most valuable assets. GM is now temporarily majority owned by the United States Treasury and, to a smaller extent, the Canada Development Investment Corporation — a Canadian Crown corporation — and the Ontario government, with the US government investing a total of US$57.6 billion under the Troubled Asset Relief Program.[10]

On April 21, 2010, GM CEO Ed Whitacre Jr. announced that the company had paid back the entire amount of the US and Canadian government loans, with interest, a total of $8.1 billion.[11] The company expects to repurchase a sizable portion of the remaining equity stake with funds earned via a public stock offering. While no GM shares are currently available to the public, the company's plans as of 2009 were to initiate an initial public stock offering (IPO) in 2010.[12]

GM plans to focus its business on its four core North American brands: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC. In Europe, following a period of negotiation to sell a majority stake in its Opel and Vauxhall brands, the company decided to retain full ownership of these operations.[13] However, on February 23, 2010, GM sold Saab Automobile to Spyker Cars NV and is winding down its Hummer,[14] Pontiac, and Saturn brands, the latter two remaining under the old GM, now known as Motors Liquidation Company.

# Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is part of the Mahindra Group, an automotive, farm

equipment, financial services, trade and logistics, automotive components, after-

market, IT and infrastructure conglomerate[2] The company was set up in 1945 in

Ludhiana as Mahindra & Mohammed.[3] [4] later, after the partition of India, Malik

Ghulam Muhammad returned to Pakistan and became that nation's first finance

minister. Hence, the name was changed from Mahindra & Mohammed to Mahindra &

Mahindra in 1948.

Initially set up to manufacture general-purpose utility vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra

(M&M) was first known for assembly under license of the iconic Willys Jeep in India.

ENVIRONMENT:

All businesses operate within an environment, which directly or indirectly affects the way in which they function. Conceptually, the forces that comprise the marketing environment are viewed as existing at two levels. They are categorized as micro and macro environment.

Our production processes do not generate air, water or noise pollution. All our physical waste is 100% recycled by small-toy manufacturers.

We have genuine concern for our environment and ensure there is no wastage of water and electricity. We have insulated our factory working area to avoid air-conditioning and saving on precious electric power. We avoid unnecessary wet washing to save water. In addition, we also have all the provisions for rain-water harvesting. We have installed latest computerized sewing machine equipped with servo motor; which does not consume electricity in idle time.

MICRO ENVIROMENT OF THE COMPANY:

Customers: Company’s aim is to provide high quality car seat covers and accessories at a competitive price and ensure prompt delivery as and when required. Cater the changing needs of modern customers is not easy preposition, but Company (Autoform) still manage to provide them the goods as per their aspire because we know that the customer is king.

Employees: Employees in Autoform are highly skilled and focussed towards their work. They are provided the basic amenities, time to time salary and incentives which keep them self-motivated. If there are grievances of employees, they are heared with effective manner.

Suppliers: The suppliers of Autoform are those who provide high quality raw material at minimum rate. Increasing rate of inflation increases the prices of raw material, but having good relationship with the suppliers provide discounts and other offers which proves beneficial to the company.

Competitors: Competitors are posing great threat to the company from time to time, highly skilled marketing team deals with those completive hurdles and provide the mass sales to the company.
