3D LED Flex 40Modular, flexible LED linear lighting systemThe Morgan 3D LED Flex system has been developed for use in indirect architectural lighting projects such as cove lighting and wall wash lighting applications where the building surfaces are non linear with curved profiles and facades.

The Morgan 3D LED Flex system incorporates an articulated joint system joining the LED heat sinks that allows the system to follow curved building surfaces while maintaining a constant 25 mm or 50 mm spacing between the LEDs thus ensuring continuous lit effects without shadows or dark areas.

The friction ball joint allows adjustment in three dimensions so that the system can be installed to follow complex building profiles. A variety of mounting hardware is available for many applications and custom mounts can be developed for specific projects.

After installation the individual modules can be adjusted by hand to optimise the light distribution. The ball joint design ensures that the modules will remain in position after adjustment and a locking mechanism is available.

Each LED heat sink module can operate up to 5 Watts of LEDs giving a total light output of up to 3,000 lumens per mtr depending on the colour temperature and LED type.

Extruded modules allow longer lengths to be produced for rectilinear spaces. The extruded modules link seamlessly with the 100 mm modules for continuous lighting without any dark areas.

The system has versions for both interior and exterior applications with IP ratings of IP 20, IP 44 and IP 65.

System efficiency depends on drive current and colour temperature of the LEDs. With 2,700 K 80 CRI LEDs run at 350 mA a typical system efficiency of over 60 lumens per circuit Watt is achieved.
